a) At some point the upload worked. I don't remember how.
b) In a personal mail I would explain my personal relationship with gnupg and
why I am not more active.

SUMMARY
In a database I use secondary tables. One column of the main-table is named
"land", using a secondary table "z_bundesland". See attachment
Screenshot_table-design.png.

If I use a form, the graph works well and shows the value "land". Here see
attachments Hueselitz.png and sentences_with_Column_given_by_form.png.

If I use the filter with a value from "z_land" as part of the secondary table
"land", (SQL-land.png) then then the result is shown in attachment
result_of_SQL.png. The column "land" is empty.

Searching for a reason, I found an early csv that I used as an ex- or import in
or out of kexi. Could this be an invisible rudiment? Attachment
Sentences_in_csv_2016.png. Currently these sentences have the invisible value
"Sachsen-Anhalt".
Confused!

Hi Jaroslaw,

your last advice relating the opening of kexi-files was helpfully. Thanks!

Using version 3.2 I firstly remarked
- the right date-format ddmm in table and queries,
- the export is working
- and many annoying crashes while using reports are patched.

Finally! And a great THANK!!!

Now I'm using the upto date Manjaro-Linux with Plasma 5.15.4; frameworks 5.57,
kernel 5.09-2 Manjaro

Please help me in case I want to change the sequence of jumping in forms from
one field to the usefull following field. Its necessary for an effectiv work.

And lastly a question where to find the Flatpak-gpg-key (http://
distribute.kde.org/flatpak-apps-testing) to bind it into the keyring. I didn't
find it.
I'd like to test 3.3

Regards
Albrecht

No, I think its the same old issue. I cannot open any kexi file from a

I cannot send the mdb-file from data-securitiy reasons. I have only this file.

Because of crashes any trial on my side is obsolet.

Please try by yourself to make an export into csv or clipbord.

Ok I understand the use of quotations.
If its not too hard, what about changing a break within a db-cell into a space.
When you EXPORT a db-content then such formal things ar not essentially. Look
at my attachment out off my form. I used it there for a better presentation.
But this is only my actual limited perception.

If I use the usual way of creating a table with editing it, I only find the
data-typ "date/time". In the right property-table there is a sub-property of
"date/time" = "time". Unfortunately this is not persistent. In this way its for
now not possible to create time-fields.
If I go the path "B" I create a table with LO, create a column (field) with
"time" (example 15:00).
Importing this as cvs, kexi recognizes the field really as "time" (!) but
finally the import ends in a date.
Am I right, that earlier versions of kexi worked better in this case? Somehow I
remember.

Using the scroll wheel shows that the center of enlargment lays on the cursor.
Its a well known function, also pan in the window. This is normal.
But if you have determined coordinates, it is not allowed to change them !! For
this case, I need urgently a switch to stop the above functions. Because there
are two fields in design-properties depending to activities, the second offers:
"no activation"; "tab,click"; "tab&click" and "tab,click,wheel" I assumed this
could deactivate the scrolling. If so, I would say its a bug if it doesn't
work.

So far my forms are linked to the table, I had no problem. If I link a form to
a query, then the form shows for all records the same first picture.

Reproducible: Always

appended is my current db. I changed field Stationierung_1 to the earlier
content. Then the alignment is wrong.

(for the moment I cannot import from csv due to the "object"-issue)

using theme "earth/openstreetmap/openstreetmap.dgml" in forms is great, but
there is one problem: ceating a report 1 sheet has an empty picture.
You told me earlier, the reason lays by OSM.
O.k. Then I ask if you could combine this lack with a dummy page? Then there is
no faulty page.

May be I found the reason for the displacement shown in the file "alignment in
headers.pdf".
I searched in the affected fields. There were spaces at the end by insert &
paste from fields in another table.
When I deleted them, the alignment was o.k.

The problem appears in worling with report. It concerns only one field.

The vertical alignment of the field (picture: Field lat_long_zoom.png) does
not do, what i set.

I tried some different vertical alignments. The best that was "above". Then
representation was nearly ok. If I try "center", then the fonts are up.

The pict. "Properties latid_long_zoom.png" shows the properties, when I set
"down".
The result is picture "report lat_long_zoom.png", where the fonts are on top.

The current import-problem for objects (from csv) could be deacticated if you
can exclude some rows, for example excluding an object-row. Then there is the
opportunity to insert an object by hand.

[kexi] [Bug 349706] Add support for importing values of Object type from CSV

2016-03-03 Thread Albrecht Will via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=349706

In kexi 2.9.11 i can choose in the table an object (picture) and store it. Then
there you can see a thumbnail in the table. During the session the picture is
shown in my form. Closing kexi and starting it again, the form does not show
the picture !!
Adopted, you can improve it, then there is again the reported import-problem
for objects.
My suggestion:
The current import-problem for objects (from csv) could be avoided if you can
exclude some rows, for example excluding an object-row. Then there is the
opportunity to insert an object by hand.
Could you make this sooner?

[kexi] [Bug 349706] Add support for importing values of Object type from CSV

2016-02-22 Thread Albrecht Will via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=349706

I use now kexi 2.9.11, the reported problem about importing Datas is bigger
then in the past. The import of a cvs file works nearly smooth until the point,
when I come to a column for "objects" (an exported picture) If I want to change
it, there is no chance to select "object".
In the past I therefore imported a table, because the selection "object" works.
But this time is a huge irritation. During the import kexi reads all columns as
text (integer, date,...). If you try to change one property, all other columns
get the same poperty. Here you can select the property "object".

Even it is not yet possible to handle pictures during import and export, you
must have at least the possibility to assign objects by hand after an import.

Because I have troubles to read the content of the very last column in a
request if it is very long, I tried to make a detour over reports. And here it
would be very nice to find the searched content if I could jump to a page in
report (=data-row]

May be you find a way to easily read the complete content inside the request?
