So I hadn't noticed that kpa normally handles 8-bit tiff files. Kpa shows thumbnails made from tif 16 bits before this upgrade, but doesnt show them in viewer. I agree. No. Let's take an example: A "panoramic" image (16/9), whatever the actual size, displayed on a 1920*1080 screen with current kpa viewer: - 16/9 landscape: image displayed 1920*1080 px - 9/16 portrait: image displayed 607*1080 px With a display area 1200*1060 px on the same screen - 16/9 landscape: image displayed 1200*675 px - 9/16 portrait: image displayed 597*1060 px which reduces the display gap between "portrait" and "landscape" images Happy Christmas ( even posthumously !) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=475976 --- Comment #10 from Alex6 --- Hi, I'd say it's a (minor) kpa bug that concerns: - kio-fuse users (I don't know exactly what kio-fuse is for) - users of distributions which, like Manjaro, install kio-fuse by default. Personally, I've wasted a lot of time waiting for my images to load or save with gimp, and thanks to your help, finding the origin and solution of the problem. In KDE shortcut settings dialog, there is no indication that a scheme is used nor default scheme, that is a bit confusing... Save a new shortcut with Manage Schemes->More Actions->Save Shortcuts to Scheme is for me a bit confusing and complicated too! Shortcuts modifying is normally not a daily task!!!
