[amarok] [Bug 468768] Random Track Progression Does Not Work
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=468768 Andreas Hurka changed: What|Removed |Added CC||andr...@qvxb.de --- Comment #1 from Andreas Hurka --- (Also on tumbleweed) To add to the observed behavior: When progression stops working, there is no next track displayed on the top. However, with a seemingly random amount of skipping to the next track e.g. by keyboard shortcut, one can get to another track. [It feels like there are more tracks in the random pool than are available, resulting in a large number of non existent tracks being queued.] -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[amarok] [Bug 468303] New: Crash when using Random Track Progression
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=468303 Bug ID: 468303 Summary: Crash when using Random Track Progression Classification: Applications Product: amarok Version: 2.9.71 Platform: openSUSE OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Playlist Assignee: amarok-bugs-d...@kde.org Reporter: andr...@qvxb.de Target Milestone: kf5 Created attachment 157963 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=157963=edit output of amarok --debug with random track progression in amarokrc SUMMARY *** On openSUSE Tumbleweed amarok crashes when encountering Random Track Progression at startup or upon the user selecting Random Track Progression. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start Amarok 2. Select Random Track Progression ALTERNATIVELY 1. have [General Options] Track Progression=RandomTrack in ~/.config/amarokrc 2. start amarok OBSERVED RESULT Amarok crashes immediately, outputting "Attempted to overwrite a QRandomGenerator to system() or global()." EXPECTED RESULT Amarok should operate normally, selecting random tracks to play once one has finished playing. This was the case before roughly 2023-03-28. Around this time this broke with some update to openSUSE Tumbleweed. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20230407, Kernel 6.2.9-1-default (64-bit) (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.104.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This issue has been discussed on the openSUSE forums, though the focus was on my less than ideal repo-situation: https://forums.opensuse.org/t/amarok-fails-to-start-attempts-to-overwrite-qrandomgenerator/165478/13 My music library is quite large (~25 GiB), though it seems that amarok crashes before even getting to have a look at the library. As the library also did not change before this first happened I did not test with a smaller library yet. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[dolphin] [Bug 438850] Search does not output any results
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=438850 Andreas Hurka changed: What|Removed |Added CC||andr...@qvxb.de --- Comment #8 from Andreas Hurka --- I am experiencing a similar problem on open suse tumbleweed, baloo indexing is at 100 %, baloosearch yields results and searching in dolphin doesn't work, at least partially. I noticed, that only the search "From Here(Location)" Option does not work (no results at all, no changes when pressing F5), while "Your Files" does. [Falkon] [Bug 428106] New: No download button in internal pdf viewer.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=428106 Bug ID: 428106 Summary: No download button in internal pdf viewer. Product: Falkon Version: 3.1.0 Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: extensions Assignee: now...@gmail.com Reporter: andr...@qvxb.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY One of the more common usecases for a webrowser is downloading documents such as pdf files. Falkon seems to have an intergrated pdf viewer which opens when a "link" with a .pdf extension is opened. Then the adress bar looks something like this: chrome-extension://mh[…]jai/index.html? followed by the initial link This viewer offers the feature to rotate and fit to screen, but lacks a download button. Of course one can save the page but that results in mhtml or html file, not in a pdf. Maybe I am missing something here, but I have looked many times. Also I would try to implement this myself as this is important to my workflow, but am currently low on time due to schoolwork. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a pdf-link (such as this one: https://ldk-hildesheim.antragsgruen.de/ldk-hildesheim/motion/pdfcollection/2985/Sozial%C3%B6kologische+Transformation.pdf This link leads to a political document, if that is a problem I will search for another one immediately) 2. [okular] [Bug 410723] Freehand annotation jagged lines with stylus
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=410723 Andreas Hurka changed: What|Removed |Added CC||andr...@qvxb.de --- Comment #22 from Andreas Hurka --- I had a similar issue where there was a more or less constant zig zag pattern in the freehand lines using the surface pen on surface book with ferenOS (bionic, neon(I think)). After the installation of a lot of dev libraries I removed the input from the pen much like independent-squirrel did in comment 15 with similar results: zig zag is gone, although the lines aren't really smooth, probably X only simulating so many mouse actions in a given time frame. I somehow managed to get okular to crash when I select a custom annotation preset and mix the buttons up (freehand line is underline, squiggle is freehand line etc.) in the process. Btw: Can someone link me a resource for uninstalling stuff installed trough sudo make install? I do not really understand the underlying functionality of those annotations, but I would suggest ignoring mouse input when pen input is being detected, or an option to ignore the pen which gets automatically suggested when a repeated two point pattern or simultaneous input through mouse and pen is detected. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[amarok] [Bug 405285] New: amarok crashes after while/after importing musik from just mounted usb medium
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405285 Bug ID: 405285 Summary: amarok crashes after while/after importing musik from just mounted usb medium Product: amarok Version: 2.9.0 Platform: Compiled Sources OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Keywords: drkonqi Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: amarok-bugs-d...@kde.org Reporter: andr...@qvxb.de Target Milestone: kf5 Application: amarok (2.9.0) KDE Platform Version: 4.14.38 (Compiled from sources) Qt Version: 4.8.7 Operating System: Linux 4.15.0-46-generic x86_64 Distribution: KDE neon User Edition 5.15 -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: I had restarted my PC and wanted to hear some musik. I started amarok to do so. Every single track (apart from the amarok theme) was light grey marked, as usual when I restart the PC. That may be because of the fact that all my musik is on an external drive which has to "boot"? up to access to data. In the session before I did some changes in amarok (see custom settings) so amarok tried to import the musik I guess. I looked in the amarok media browser (on the left side) and saw that the medium wasn't mounted. So I went in dolphin and opened it. After that amarok showed me a very long list of duplicates and crashed. After restarting it everythink works fine. The crash reporting assistant asked me to install debugging icons. I did so. - Custom settings of the application: added /media to local collection (Is it called that way or library?) added the external USB drive "My book" to the statistics matching checked continue playing after start (or is that default?) set amarok to shuffle mode (may not be related) -- Backtrace: Application: Amarok (amarok), signal: Segmentation fault Using host libthread_db library "/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libthread_db.so.1".
