[kwin] [Bug 478556] With NVIDIA or AMD GPUs on X11, sometimes left or right clicking on windows of JetBrains apps or a Plasma panel instead interacts with Plasma desktop
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=478556 --- Comment #22 from Andreas Schneider --- And another addition/observation (hoping that this helps narrowing down where the problem could come from): I now closed a few other windows (especially those on the left monitor) and suddenly Goland takes mouse inputs again - even on the main screen. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kwin] [Bug 478556] With NVIDIA or AMD GPUs on X11, sometimes left or right clicking on windows of JetBrains apps or a Plasma panel instead interacts with Plasma desktop
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=478556 --- Comment #21 from Andreas Schneider --- Now I have it happen to an open Goland instance. Moving it to my left monitor it works, moving it back to the main monitor and it's immediately "broken" again. I can Meta+Left-Click to move and Meta+Right-Click to resize, but otherwise the mouse only interacts with the window "below". Keyboard input is forwarded (i.e. I can navigate using the keyboard and also type stuff), though, as long as the window has focus. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=478556 Andreas Schneider changed: What|Removed |Added CC||ak...@gmx.de --- Comment #20 from Andreas Schneider --- I have that happen quite a lot. I also can't find a way to fix the IntelliJ window, besides moving it to my left-most monitor, so I assume there might be some scaling included. My setup: 100% scaled 1280x1024 on the left, 125% scaled 3440x1440 on the right. The right one is the main monitor. I typically have IntelliJ in the left-half-quick-tile block of the big monitor. I also have multiple virtual desktops I switch between. Switching focus a few times between different windows, it can happen that IntelliJ can't focus anymore. Mouse-over and click events seem to "fall through" to the window below. Moving the window to the other monitor fixes it in the meantime. Moving it back sometimes works for a while and then fails again. I haven't had it fail on the left-most monitor yet. As long as the window was there, all was fine. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=477124 Andreas Schneider changed: What|Removed |Added CC||ak...@gmx.de --- Comment #15 from Andreas Schneider --- I can currently reliably reproduce it with Hell Let Loose using Proton 9 on Plasma 6.0.2 on ArchLinux. Once ingame, the mouse hits a barrier and then starts jumping around, making it impossible to aim at anything. Works fine on X11. It also doesn't matter if I play it windows or fullscreen. (It can be reproduced in the training ground; one doesn't have to join a multiplayer game.) Elder Scrolls Online behaves a bit different: when I start the game, the mouse jumps every few seconds, turning my camera almost 180° around. Switching the game to window mode (alt+enter) and back fixes it, though. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[frameworks-knotifications] [Bug 481069] Consider re-adding the feature to execute commands in notifications
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=481069 --- Comment #30 from Andreas Schneider --- As initially said that this is something for power users, I think using as the command: /home/me/foo.sh %t with foo.sh: #!/bin/bash TITLE=$1 echo "$TITLE" should really not be a challenge for a power user. There is no need for option parsing if you're the only one who controls this. If you really need all of those variables to make a decision what to do in the script. Then you're advanced enough to quickly code up option parsing in your bash script. It is a 30 line switch statement in bash. However I would like to use change Region, Numbers, Time, Currency etc. to a different locale. In my case it is German. So if I search the list for Germany, it only offers me en_DE for Germany and that locale doesn't exist. If you look through the list not only the locale for German is completly bogus also for others. Compare it using 'locale -a' on a console which gives you a list of supported locales. Other examples: ksh_DE doesn't exist. So I don't know what this is even coming from. [Akonadi] [Bug 399167] Akonadi enters deadlock state which makes it completely unuseable
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=399167 --- Comment #6 from Andreas Schneider --- I can more or less reproduce the multiple merge canditates. I'm connected to an imap server over a slow VPN connection. I have "Download all messages for offline use" selected. When I read the Inbox and delete a mail, I press 'Del' and the message is gone. Then a sync with the imap it triggered automatically. The sync makes the message appear again and them it is removed again. If I read the next mail and want to delete it. I press 'Del' however the sync to imap was trigger and I hit 'Del' while the old message reappears I send a delete for that message twice! Now the there is a 'multiple merge canditates' issue for Trash. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398574 --- Comment #12 from Andreas Schneider --- There is a feature in OpenSSH which we don't implement yet. They check the known_hosts file for the keytype to the server we want to connect to. If there is one, then they put that at first position of the preferred keys to negotiate with the server. This way the client and server settle on that key. Workaround: Use the 'HostKeyAlgorithms' config option an select the key you want to use. ed25519 is better than ecdsa. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398574 --- Comment #10 from Andreas Schneider --- Harald, the error you get is about libssh negotiated a ed25519 key with the server but then found a ecdsa key in the known_hosts file. I guess it works if you use ed25519 which I really would recommend over ecdsa. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368877 --- Comment #6 from Andreas Schneider --- Hi Nate, I don't really understand what you mean exactly. The individual patches are as small as possible and easy to review as the only address one issue at the time. Do you want that I create a branch for each bug which gets addressed? That's the only thing which would make sense to further split them up. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
