[dolphin] [Bug 463615] Dolphin ignores date format locales
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=463615 --- Comment #4 from Artiom Neganov --- Hi folks. How is it going? This awful bug is still there making the usage of Dolphin highly difficult, as it's producing this mess. I wonder why it's being ignored this long... It's very frustrating. Let me state it one more time: Dolphin is completely ignoring whatever you set in System Settings date format. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install Linux Kubungu 22.04 2. Get US and GB locales installed and generated 3. Set en_GB.UTF-8 formats OBSERVED RESULT 4. See how Dolphin doesn't care EXPECTED RESULT Dolphin should respect System Settings. [kdeconnect] [Bug 462849] New: Remote input doesn't work with non-ASCII input
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=462849 Bug ID: 462849 Summary: Remote input doesn't work with non-ASCII input Classification: Applications Product: kdeconnect Version: unspecified Platform: Android OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: common Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com Reporter: anega...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I'm unable to enter non-ASCII text from my android phone to PC. They transmitted text 1) either don't reach the PC at all 2) either appears in a weird manner, symbol by symbol, like someone is typing it slowly 3) either a few symbols out of the initial string appears It doesn't happen with ASCII symbols which appear IMMEDIATELY. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. pair 2. on phone: open KDE Connect > Remote input > Compose send 3. on phone: send "foo bar" 4. on PC: it appears immediately and as a whole 5. on phone: send "привет мир" 6. on PC: it appears symbol by symbol in the best case, or it either gets filtered in that odd way. For example, if I send this text: "Я помню чудное мгновенье передо мной явилась ты как мимолётное виденье как гений чистой красоты" (a stansa from a Pushkin poem) this is what reaches my PC: "Я помню веньеп ередомной акгена соты тойкрас от ыто йкрасотыто йкрасот ыто йкрас отытой красоты" This looks so weird that I cannot even imagine an explanation for such a behaviour :) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Kubuntu 22.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.7 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Kernel Version: 5.15.0-53-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics Memory: 27.3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD RENOIR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Android: 13 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[krunner] [Bug 431603] When searching for applications results are not as expected.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431603 Artiom Neganov changed: What|Removed |Added CC||anega...@gmail.com --- Comment #10 from Artiom Neganov --- Hi folks. I'm having similar issues here on Kubuntu 20.04 with Plasma 5.18.5. I have two applications installed: "Obsidian" and "OBS Studio". Now when I type "obs studi", the first suggestion is "Obsidian" and only then goes "OBS Studio". https://i.gyazo.com/949f814b4a1992e10a59fb124c55d0c2.png As you see, both matches come from Applications group. The only way to get OBS Studio first is to... type its name to the end: "obs studio". Any ideas on why the search works incorrectly? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389548 Bug ID: 389548 Summary: On newly installed system kwallet is locked after first restart Product: frameworks-kwallet Version: 5.38.0 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: va...@kde.org Reporter: anega...@gmail.com CC: kdelibs-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- I've get a fresh install of Kubuntu 17.10, and got KWallet asking me for password which I'd never set one more time. As far as I'm aware of - the same was with 17.04, 16.10, 16.04 and before. What I do every time to save my time - I just set it BLANK which seems like a mockery on common sense - you have your secure wallet open for everyone. This time I decided to create a bug report here because I want to understand so what the heck is wrong with either KDE or Kubuntu so that every time a new system is installed it just doesn't work after the first login and why on earth it's considered normal? Haven't I already setup my password when installed the system? I have. Haven't I had working browser in the first session? I have. So why can't KWallet just unlock itself if I start MY session with MY password? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
