[kmymoney] [Bug 362384] Cannot enter transaction with postdate prior to account's opening date error
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362384 --- Comment #2 from Ben--- (In reply to Jack from comment #1) > The "account" can be either the account in which you are entering the > transaction, or the category to which you are assigning the transaction. > Remember, KMM treats categories internally as accounts. If you can change > the category after entering the transaction, and the transaction date is > prior to the opening date of the category, that should probably count as a > bug. Categories generally get opening dates of the date they were created, > which does lead to this error. Ahh, I didn't realize that. I don't know why a category would have a opening date associated with it aka be treated like an account, but changing the date of the category to an earlier date does seem to fix my problem, thnx! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kmymoney] [Bug 362384] New: Cannot enter transaction with postdate prior to account's opening date error
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362384 Bug ID: 362384 Summary: Cannot enter transaction with postdate prior to account's opening date error Product: kmymoney Version: unspecified Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: General Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org Reporter: wellness...@gmail.com Trying to manually enter a few transactions into a liability account with an opening date in 2008, but sometimes it won't let me, telling me that I "Cannot enter transaction with postdate prior to account's opening date", which seems to be happening for anything entered prior to 01/01/2016! I can get it to work if I enter a new transaction, enter the payment 'date' and 'amount' first and save it, and then go back and edit the 'from' and 'category' after the fact. If I try to enter all 4 at once, I get the error and can't save the transaction. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: See above. Actual Results: See above. Expected Results: Allow me to enter all transactions after account open date in 2008! None. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Akonadi] [Bug 354056] Deleted emails stay, but greyed out
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=354056 Benchanged: What|Removed |Added CC||c...@bnavigator.de --- Comment #29 from Ben --- You can select "Automatically compact folders" in the Advanced Tab of the IMAP Ressource. This will instruct KMail to send the EXPUNGE command and you will get rid of the greyed out messages. Why you cannot tell kmail to not display messages marked as deleted is beyond my understanding though. That should be standard. Also, boo to the kmail developers, who failed to respond properly to this bug report in weeks. And it is not the only report I noticed this behaviour. Is there any active development in kmail? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kmail2] [Bug 355195] date and time are ambiguous when replying to and forwarding messages (no timezone information)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355195 --- Comment #3 from Ben--- (In reply to kolAflash from comment #2) > Actually I'd prefer to see the timezone offset (e.g. +0800). Especially > because I'm mailing with people in different timezones > this seems to be the better way instead of recalculating everything to my > local timezone without > any attached timezone information. As i understand from reading the source in templateparser.cpp this is actually the desired behavior of the %OTIME and %OTIMELONG pattern. But somehow the timezone information is passed either missing or passed incorrectly. I do not see whether this is a problem with the KMime library, templateparser or somewhere else in the kdepim infrastructure. Maybe it's Akonadi while providing the message? Someone with a working debug environment should look into it. I currently do not have such a environment running. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
