As far as I'm aware it only makes the tag disappear from the selection list in Ledger view. My base currency and the currency of the investment account is HUF. In the reports (Transactions by Accounts and Transactions by Categories) the commission showing incorrect amounts (e.g. 711927.31 HUF for $7.99 -> 89102.2916 HUF/USD). When checking Commission category e.g. in Income and Expenses This Year report or by double clicking it in the Categories view to open in Ledger view, the correct amount shown (2389.90 HUF for $7.99 -> 299.1113 HUF/USD). Correct amount can be calculated in Transactions by Accounts report too: total amount in the "[Split Transaction]" line and the total price paid in "Transfer to: Investments: Investment account: Stock" are correct so commission can be calculated, though showing the wrong amount. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Book the investment transaction 2. Fill the correct amount or exchange rate in the popup window 3. Check Transactions... reports OBSERVED RESULT Amount of commission in base currency is wrong in Transactions reports of Reports view, correct in Income and Expenses and Cash flow reports of Reports view and also correct in Categories view (Ledger view). EXPECTED RESULT Reports show the same amount as one can see in Categories. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Windows 10 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: 5.71.0 Qt Version: 5.15.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I use the last stable build of KMYMoney for Windows 5.1-763. I set the stocks to be updated from Stooq and it works perfectly for all dates. When updating currency prices for today, KMyMoney uses KMyMoney Currency (fx-rate.net) and it works perfectly. Moreover in investment reports is wrong due to this issue, the decrease in stock prices wasn't so bad that the stocks' value is ~400 HUF as in the attached example. Open Update Stock and Currency Prices 2. Select ID's HUF > USD and USD > HUF 3. Set From and To dates to 2020-03-31 4. Click Update Selected OBSERVED RESULT The HUF > USD price updated to 0.3058 $ on 2020-03-31. This is correct as the closing price is 0.30588 on Stooq. The USD > HUF price is updated to 3.2701 HUF on 2020-03-31. This is not correct as the closing price is 326.924 on Stooq. This results in incorrect price in investment reports of stocks denominated in USD. The updated price does not show up in Price Editor dialog (remains 294.1176 on 2020-03-07) but does show up in Update Stock and Currency Prices dialog. EXPECTED RESULT USD > HUF price updates correctly to 326.924 HUF. It seems the price is divided by 100 somehow. During new account setup, I cannot select any other currency just HUF (my base currency). I also tried to create the account as HUF and change the currency by editing the account but the result is the same. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Click on New Account 2. Click Next on Institution tab of KMyMoney New Account Setup (no institution selected) 3. Type "Készpénz, EUR" in Account name, change Account type to "Cash" 4. Try to select "Euro (EUR)" as Currency. OBSERVED RESULT The dropdown list contains only Hungarian Forint (HUF) and no other currency. EXPECTED RESULT I was expecting to be able to select any currency just as I can select the base currency when creating a new .kmy file.
