When I deleted them, the message list went empty and i had to switch to anouther folder and back to get the list again. Clicking on the red cross quits it. Clicking on the black cross in the tab bar closes the active tab, as I would expect. So that seems to be no issue in later versions. But I can confirm in version 3.0.5 that shortcut ctrl-shift-q doesn't work (Archlinux Packages). To reproduce: 1. Start Yakuake 2. Give it focus (press F12) 3. Press ctrl-shift-q 4. Give it focus (press F12) Although it should have been quit, the program is still running. The workaround is to relogin or reboot to make all the settings again. The same behaviour encounters sometimes when I switch from one user to another without ending the former session (Switch User). One workaround that works for me is to use the command line tool nmcli to bring up the connection. Afterwards the nm-applet works fine again.
