[digikam] [Bug 366769] New: Rename aborts after first rename of many

2016-08-14 Thread Geoff King via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=366769

Bug ID: 366769
Summary: Rename aborts after first rename of many
   Product: digikam
   Version: 5.1.0
Platform: Mac OS X Disk Images
OS: OS X
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: AdvancedRename
  Assignee: digikam-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: gski...@gmail.com

Renaming video files fails after the first of many files to be renamed. This
affects my MP4 video files. It does not affect jpg files.
This appears similar to bug 357617

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select several video files (in my case MP4 from GoPro)
2. F2 to start rename dialog.
3. Change the name and start the rename.

Actual Results:
The first file is renamed, but the others are not. a Renaming Images dialog
box comes up and says Please wait... Processing. The only option is to Abort.

Expected Results:
All the files would be renamed. Instead 1 of 10 files were renamed.

This appears similar to bug 357617

[digikam] [Bug 365263] New: Dragging a image to an Album cannot see which album easily

2016-07-08 Thread Geoff King via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365263

Bug ID: 365263
Summary: Dragging a image to an Album cannot see which album
easily
   Product: digikam
   Version: 5.0.0
Platform: Mac OS X Disk Images
OS: OS X
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Usability
  Assignee: digikam-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: gski...@gmail.com

When I drag an image to a different album, I see a small arrow icon. It is
hard to be certain that it is dropping onto the correct destination directory.
I would like instead to see the destination album highlighted so that I'm sure
I'm over the correct item as is done within the Mac Finder.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
More easily see that the destination directory is selected.

Platform: Mac OS X Disk Images
OS: OS X
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR

  Assignee: digikam-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: gski...@gmail.com

The Default color scheme works fine. I would however like to use a dark
neutral gray color instead. If I choose "GrayCard" I cannot see the left and
right border menu text. Other text sections are also hard to see such as "Open
Tag Manager" which has a background color very similar to the text color.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
More contrast between font and background colors. Easier to read text.
