Bug ID: 479729
Summary: Gui elements hidden by kcm title header
Classification: Applications
   Product: systemsettings
   Version: 5.92.0
  Platform: Other
OS: Other
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: gc...@mailbox.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 164858
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=164858=edit
Image showing kcm_screenlocker partially visible

With kde/plasma 6 beta/rc there is a regression regarding kcm modules whose
content is not fully visible but top most elements are inaccessible since
rendered behind Kcm module's Title. Attached the screenlocker example.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a kcm module through kcmshell6 (f.i. `kcmshell6 kcm_screenlocker`)

OBSERVED RESULT

The module main area is partially hidden by title bar

EXPECTED RESULT
All gui elements should be visible and accessible

"Fortinet SSLVPN (fortisslvpn)" partially works in the sense that I can receive
on my mail the OTP but the window in which I should write it up stays open for
a blink. I reported the bug here https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=436158.

Openconnect settings page for Fortinet

SUMMARY
I'm unable to use the Fortinet's protocol provided by OpenConnect. I usually
connect to the job's vpn with username and password and a token sent by email
after login.

When configuring such VPN connection there is any field for username and
password so the plugin tries to use a certificate file that, in my case, is not
provided.

I can normally use openconnect from command line:

sudo openconnect --protocol=fortinet MY-GATEWAY --user MY-USERNAME

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Connections Manager Settings
2. Add a "VPN Compatible Fortinet (openconnect)"
3. Edit settings

OBSERVED RESULT
No imput fields for username and password

EXPECTED RESULT
Fields for username and password

SUMMARY
I configured a FortiSSL Vpn in NetworkManager with One Time Password enabled in
advanced settings. The problem is that the dialog in which I should write the
token pops for less than a second (video included)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Configure FortiSSL VPN in NetworkManager with OTP authentication
2. Enable the new VPN from the applet

OBSERVED RESULT

The dialog for inserting the token auto-hides/closes suddenly.

encrypted attachments
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.16.1
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal

 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: gc...@mailbox.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I own a server whose mysql database is dumped daily and once encrypted with my
public gpg key is sent to my mail; the mail itself _is not signed_. When in
kmail I click on that mail in the messages list, so not trying to open any
attachment, it asks for gpg passphrase. Very annoying...

This happens the first time I open kmail after a reboot and periodically (I
presume gpg-agent is responsibly for this).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Send a plain text email with a .asc file attached (encrypted with my own
public key)
2. Click on the mail in messages list

OBSERVED RESULT
A popup opens asking to decrypt the mail with gpg passphrase

EXPECTED RESULT
Just show the mail content

At 20px same problem, at 24px looks fine.

Things are slightly changed during these years, but not solved: there are
ordering and indentation errors and rendering errors when reopening the same
file:

here is a screenshot of a sample file, before closing it:

https://i.imgur.com/GKGZzHB.png

As you can see there is too much indentation for level 2 entries, and 4.X items
should start from 1 instead 3.

And here the same file after reopening it:

https://i.imgur.com/piTUX5n.png

All numbering is a mess.

I have attached the sample file.

I'm using Calligra 3.1.0 on Archlinux

[plasmashell] [Bug 361634] New: Graphic errors for previews in Folder View applet

2016-04-11 Thread Giuseppe Calà via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361634

Bug ID: 361634
Summary: Graphic errors for previews in Folder View applet
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.6.2
  Platform: Chakra
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Folder
  Assignee: h...@kde.org
  Reporter: jive...@gmail.com
CC: plasma-b...@kde.org

The problem regards "folder view" plasmoid when enabling preview for its
content: the resulting image is very aliased and with wrong aspect ratio. Seems
that thumbnails are resized to match a square, regardless original image is
landscape or portrait.

Here what I mean: http://i.imgur.com/8vqcSTp.png
on the left "folder view" while on the right dolphin showing the same content

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a "folder view" to desktop
2. Select as source a folder containing, f.i., images or videos
3. Enable a preview engine

Actual Results:
Thumbnail preview is scaled to match a square and the resulting image is
aliased and distorted

Expected Results:
A thumbnail with correct aspect ratio and smooth
