[Haruna] [Bug 478641] New: Haruna depends on an outdated Flatpak runtime (5.15-22.08)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=478641 Bug ID: 478641 Summary: Haruna depends on an outdated Flatpak runtime (5.15-22.08) Classification: Applications Product: Haruna Version: 0.12.3 Platform: Flatpak OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: generic Assignee: georgefb...@gmail.com Reporter: isvand.i.blo...@outlook.com Target Milestone: --- Haruna is the only reason I have to keep the yesteryear org.kde.Platform/Sdk 5.15-22.08 on my system. On the other hand, Dolphin, Gwenview, and KWrite already employ the newer 5.15-23.08. Are there any blockers for updating the player to use the more recent runtime? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[dolphin] [Bug 458934] Dolphin should cryptsetup-close ejected LUKS volumes
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=458934 Hasshu changed: What|Removed |Added CC||isvand.i.blo...@outlook.com --- Comment #1 from Hasshu --- Indeed, clicking on the removable device (see also Bug 402690) does nothing, whereas clicking on the unmounted partition instantly remounts it without prompt of any kind. That makes no sense. The pain gets real when you have an external USB enclosure with a couple of LUKS-encrypted disks: not only is there no easy way to lock these, but "safely removing" one of the disks may power off both at once. Granted, the latter doesn't seem to be an issue specific to KDE, but GNOME Disks at least has the courtesy to warn me of the impending blackout. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 456213] Consider using "Minimize All" as the default behavior/widget, rather than "Show Desktop"
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=456213 Hasshu changed: What|Removed |Added CC||isvand.i.blo...@outlook.com --- Comment #7 from Hasshu --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #3) I may be missing something, but I see no point in "Peek" whatsoever. > It's useful for quickly peeking at the desktop, or for dragging something on > the desktop into an app. Can't either thing be done through minimizing all windows? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kwin] [Bug 452713] Steam notifications appear as all black on Wayland.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=452713 Hasshu changed: What|Removed |Added CC||isvand.i.blo...@outlook.com --- Comment #5 from Hasshu --- This issue has been fixed by the recent major Steam update, I believe. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 432810] On X11, exiting some apps after using clipboard sometimes hangs plasma for 5 secs
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432810 --- Comment #24 from Hasshu --- Supposed to be fixed in KeePassXC 2.7.5: https://github.com/keepassxreboot/keepassxc/commit/2ee9d501ffdd596cb6de6c368e880e7631ed94dd -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kwin] [Bug 462673] Clipboard does not include items copied via copy/paste (CTRL+C or right click+copy) until plasmashell is restarted
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=462673 Hasshu changed: What|Removed |Added CC||isvand.i.blo...@outlook.com --- Comment #29 from Hasshu --- (In reply to Oleg from comment #28) > Can confirm. > In Firefox wayland version if I copy URL from address bar I can't paste it > anywhere else than Firefox itself. For some reason it only happens to URLs > from address bar, any other text from Firefox copies just fine. [plasmashell] [Bug 442901] GTK4 apps have double scaling on hidpi
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442901 Hasshu changed: What|Removed |Added CC||isvand.i.blo...@outlook.com --- Comment #48 from Hasshu --- (In reply to Steve Vialle from comment #46) > If we need a new bug report to track this (as it's not really about GTK4 any > more), cool. I'm not convinced this one deserves a "fixed" tag when the > "fix" introduces additional regressions though. [kwin] [Bug 466463] Different scaling on HiDpi display for applications in 5.27.1
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=466463 Hasshu changed: What|Removed |Added CC||isvand.i.blo...@outlook.com --- Comment #2 from Hasshu --- Fedora Linux 36 with Plasma 5.27.1 here, and this seems to be the issue I'm experiencing... Everything is stuck at 96 DPI, and looks tiny on QHD at 27in. Global scale makes everything blurry, while forcing font DPI does nothing... except when xsettingsd randomly decides not to run on startup, turning the desktop into a mess. [systemsettings] [Bug 426788] Flatpak gtk applications opens without the breeze gtk theme
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426788 --- Comment #14 from Hasshu --- At some point I noticed that the aforementioned issue of mine affects the static build of Tor Browser as well, so it's not exclusive to Flatpak. Apparently, it's caused by xsettingsd randomly deciding not to run on startup. Manually toggling the GTK theme in the System Settings does start xsettingsd, but having to do that is a nuisance. Any suggestions as to what could be causing it, and/or where should it be reported? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kate] [Bug 459366] KWrite remembers cursor position when closing the file and opening it again
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459366 --- Comment #9 from Hasshu --- (In reply to Christoph Cullmann from comment #8) > You are right, the idea was that this doesn't happen, but I failed to see > that the default is just wrong for KWrite. Thanks for the update! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kate] [Bug 459366] KWrite remembers cursor position when closing the file and opening it again
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459366 --- Comment #4 from Hasshu --- (In reply to Gleb Popov from comment #3) > "Session -> Session Elements -> Include window configuration" doesn't affect > my problem. Even with this option disabled KWrite remembers cursor position. > > Interestingly, the blog post you mention says that KWrite does not have > sessions at all. Doesn't that mean that Kate's session settings should have > no effect on KWrite? It seems that my choice of words was a bit confusing. To rephrase: KWrite has become more similar to Kate, which includes remembering cursor position, and there appears to be no way to disable that (at all); such behavior can be disabled within Kate (for Kate only) via an option, but that would disable some other things as well. As such, I believe that both Kate and KWrite should have a dedicated option to never remember cursor position. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kate] [Bug 459366] KWrite remembers cursor position when closing the file and opening it again
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459366 Hasshu changed: What|Removed |Added CC||isvand.i.blo...@outlook.com --- Comment #2 from Hasshu --- That's likely because of https://kate-editor.org/post/2022/2022-03-31-kate-ate-kwrite/ And, it seems, there is no way to prevent the "eaten" KWrite from remembering the cursor position. Now, Kate does have an option for that (Session -> Session Elements -> Include window configuration), but it also affects things like window size and position. There should be a separate option for the cursor, methinks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 432810] exiting keepassxc after it has put a password in the clipboard hangs plasma for 5 secs
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432810 Hasshu changed: What|Removed |Added CC||isvand.i.blo...@outlook.com --- Comment #10 from Hasshu --- Unfortunately, this is still an issue as of Plasma 5.24.5. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[systemsettings] [Bug 426788] Flatpak gtk applications opens without the breeze gtk theme
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426788 Hasshu changed: What|Removed |Added CC||isvand.i.blo...@outlook.com --- Comment #13 from Hasshu --- Plasma 5.24.5 here, and this annoying issue persists: once every few reboots, some GTK-based software installed via Flatpak would get its appearance reset to default. Manually reapplying the GTK theme via the System Settings is enough to fix both the theme and the font(s) instantly. At times, it also can be fixed by simply rebooting the system, as the breakage seems to take place during startup. Oddly enough, it doesn't seem to affect all software equally. For example, there was at least one time when Firefox (the primary offender) forgot its appearance settings, but LibreOffice (also GTK) did not. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
