This bug is a blocker for me to switch to wayland.
It seems to be heavily duplicated as well.

Sadly kio can be used only by kde apps, not even plain qt apps can't use it :(
.
kio reminds me of IO tower from Tron :D.

[frameworks-kio] [Bug 357731] Unable to copy files/folder from local fs to a remote sshfs mounted using afuse.

--- Comment #4 from Infanta Xavier <xavier8...@yahoo.com> ---
this could be the cause of the bug but not sure.

https://github.com/pcarrier/afuse/issues/4

the issue could be this,
in KDiskFreeSpaceInfo::freeSpaceInfo method
KMountPoint::currentMountPoints().findByPath(path) returns
"/home/user/.mnt/ssh"
had it returned the actual proxy path which is "/tmp/afuse-fqPWBG/fedold"
the subsequent statvfs call on the mount point path would've returned the
correct freespace info

i was trying to debug, and noticed that
job->errorString() was "Could not write file .\nDisk full." in
void DolphinView::slotPasteJobResult(KJob *job) in dolphinview.cpp:1100

also noticed that the statusbar free space widget when on
/home/user/.mnt/ssh/ reported "Unknown Size".

the corresponding mounts:
afuse on /home/user/.mnt/ssh type fuse.afuse
(rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,user_id=1000,group_id=1000)
gvfsd-fuse on /run/user/1000/gvfs type fuse.gvfsd-fuse
(rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,user_id=1000,group_id=1000)
fedold:/ on /tmp/afuse-fqPWBG/fedold type fuse.sshfs
(rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,user_id=1000,group_id=1000)

but df -h returned
fedold:/  50G   21G   26G  45% /tmp/afuse-fqPWBG/fedold
