[kile] [Bug 383522] New: Two actions for one shortcut

2017-08-14 Thread J . Fly
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383522

Bug ID: 383522
Summary: Two actions for one shortcut
   Product: kile
   Version: 2.9.60
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: user interface
  Assignee: michel.lud...@kdemail.net
  Reporter: jerry.fl...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

"There are two actions (Find in Files..., Normal Fraction - \frac{}{}) that
want to use the same shortcut (Alt+Shift+F). This is most probably a bug.
Please report it in bugs.kde.org"

May be an issue with openSUSE Leap 42.3 default shortcuts. It's easy enough to
remedy through the settings but I figured I'd post it here in case Kile is
doubling up on shortcuts.

New crash information added by DrKonqi

kwin_x11 (5.8.7) using Qt 5.6.2

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Went to add the world clock widget to the desktop, kwin crashed. I was also
attempting to adjust the settings to add the global menu to opensuse 42.3 (yes
42.3 not 42.2)

The problem appears to stem from the global menu.
http://reddit.com/r/openSUSE/comments/6jeg5i/many_crashed_since_updated_to_qt_59/

I have not had any crashes since disabling the global menu. Pls fix I like the
global menu.

[drkonqi] [Bug 381644] New: Dr. Konqi Crashes During Crash Report

2017-06-25 Thread J . Fly
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381644

Bug ID: 381644
Summary: Dr. Konqi Crashes During Crash Report
   Product: drkonqi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: jerry.fl...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Konqi crashed while trying to file a bug report on the kmail archiver for
crashing. It appears to be all QT5.9 related. If you look up my last 2
reports they are similar, if not identical. I'll keep filing them until
someone says "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP!" or something along those lines.

I am using KDE Connect version 1.0.1-1

Would love the ability to control the system volume, not particularly a media
player's volume. I will listen to youtube mixes from firefox and sadly the
media controls can never find a media player :(

Reproducible: Always

[plasma-nm] [Bug 370747] Plasma freezes in attempt to store password for this user only to VPN

2016-10-23 Thread J . Fly via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=370747

Honestly, I have no clue...I updated my system and now it doesn't freeze as
before. I have the application menu mapped to the meta key, so when I go to
add the password my mouse still works now, but I can't click anything, but when
I hit the meta key and the application menu opens it closes the password menu
and my system functions again. For now, at least you changed the method to
save passwords, and that works just fine. Perhaps one day I will figure out
the issue. Thanks for your time!

Thanks for the update. This is a brand new problem for me, just started in
5.8.1 never had issues in 5.7. I'll look around to see what kind of debug
logging I can do/find with QT stuff and hopefully I'll uncover something. I'll
update whether or not I find something by the end of the week.

[plasma-nm] [Bug 370747] New: Plasma freezes in attempt to store password for this user only to VPN

2016-10-14 Thread J . Fly via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=370747

Bug ID: 370747
Summary: Plasma freezes in attempt to store password for this
user only to VPN
   Product: plasma-nm
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: lu...@kde.org
  Reporter: jerry.fl...@gmail.com

I can add VPN configs to my connection editor and I can input my vpn username
but when I attempt to click the small box on the right side of the password
text box to change from "Ask for this password every time" to "store for this
user only (encrypted)" the entire Plasma environment freezes. Not even freezes
in terms of no redrawing of the desktop, absolutely no key functions work (i.e.
alt+f2 or f12[for guake]). I ctrl+alt+f2 login in the terminal then do
"loginctl terminate-session c[number]" and SDDM automatically starts up from
there.

Just to note, I can still use the VPN service and write my PW in every time and
I have not experienced any other issues with the network manager. I am using a
wired connection on this machine with wifi disabled via the plasma-nm applet in
the system tray.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add -> Import VPN
2. Edit
3. Add username and then click the box on the right of the password textbox

Actual Results:
Plasma usually freezes at the initial click, once in a blue moon I may be able
to click 'save for this user only' before it will freeze.

Expected Results:
ability to save an encrypted password to the kwallet for my vpn logins.

[plasmashell] [Bug 362374] Changing the primary screen don't produce any effect

2016-07-11 Thread J . Fly via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362374

I am running plasma 5.7 and I have the same issue. Cairo Dock knows which
display is the primary display, and the display configuration program shows the
primary display correctly but the wallpapers and panel default to the laptop
monitor always being the primary.

Now, if I go into the display configuration and switch my primary display from
the external monitor to laptop monitor Cairo Dock will switch screens (this is
good, tells me Cairo Dock isn't broken) then I switch back to the external
monitor being the primary display the wallpapers switch screens and the panel
bar goes to the external monitor as intended.

Plasma: 5.7
Framework: 5.23
QT: 5.7
Kernel: 4.6.3-1-Arch

It only happens on boot up, after I do the display configuration dance
everything stays proper through screen locks, sleeps, monitor offs etc. It
always happens, so if you want any dumps let me know. Also let me know what to
type to get those dumps since I'm not privy on that kind of stuff.

I've added a log for boot up (journalctl -b >> bootlog.txt) Maybe you can
glean something from this. I'm running a radeon firegl card. Typing in [drm]
gets you to some radeon/monitor boot info.

Please restore old dashboard behavior with the widgets. I already have an
application launcher, and spend plenty of time in terminal and VMs. What I
don't have is a way to easily display widget I want to use while doing other
things. I understand you guys have no intention in returning the
functionality, beats me as to why you got rid of it in the first place. Maybe
a compromise and edit krunner to show widgets or give a drop down widget view
or something.
