I'm reopening this incomplete bug report. Let me know if that's a bad idea.

Issue persists in 20.04.2

Someone suggested the pitch compensation option requires rubberband-ladspa
package. I installed it and restarted Kdenlive but saw no change.

Status: REPORTED

Application: kwin_x11 (5.17.5)

Qt Version: 5.13.1
Frameworks Version: 5.65.0
Operating System: Linux 5.4.10-1-default x86_64
Distribution: "openSUSE Tumbleweed"

-- Information about the crash:
First time putting laptop to sleep after booting. Resuming took longer, screens
flickered between brightness levels for about 5 seconds, then desktop (plasma?)
reloaded wallpaper, etc. System is working now but normal desktop effects are
disabled and glxgears shows "Error: couldn't open display (null)".

Other than recent updates, I recently started using the nvidia driver, so
that's a probaby culprit.

--- Comment #5 from Jay Armstrong <j...@jayarmstrong.com> ---
Thanks Johnathan for the clarity.

I get this error consistently with (neon-userltsedition-20170913-0019-amd64)
neon while trying to install in a KVM (with no internet access).

How would we go about letting users know about this bug so they don't (each)
spend hours troubleshooting or give up on neon / *buntu?
