https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364034 Joechanged: What|Removed |Added CC||joewin...@googlemail.com --- Comment #6 from Joe --- Created attachment 100737 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=100737=edit Adds 'Assistant Tool' to a different group to circumvent misalignment (hack) (Figuring out how the ToolBox rendering works for a whole day, just to see you giving an answer a few hours earlier.. :O ) It's just as Boudewijn said, the layout code works as intended. A possible solution could be that every tool type needs to start on a 'new line' or we need more TOOL_TYPE_VIEW tools, so that it won't misalign with common toolbox dimensions. Or resize the toolbox in a way that the 'Assistant Tool' gets pushed on its own row yourself, what would be the easiest solution, I guess.. But, if it is really bothering you, you can recompile krita with this little hack. Hack away! It's sufficiently hard-coded so that you have to modify it anyway. The main deal is that you know where to look for the interface which switches the audio. I would appreciate a copy of anything you get to work (off list). Especially if it ends up less hard-coded than my version. Of course, that's optional since it's GPL code. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[systemsettings] [Bug 276016] Provide configure option to hide "remove download photos with gwenview" action in device notifier
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=276016 --- Comment #13 from Joe--- (In reply to Rog131 from comment #10) > Meanwhile - A workaround to disable unwanted solid/device actions > > The KDE is checking the users home directory and using the desktop files > from the home before using the system desktop files. > > At this the /usr/share/solid/actions/ directory has a solid-action.desktop > file. > > 1) Locate solid/actions directory > $ locate solid/actions > > 2) Make a solid/actions directory to home directory > $ mkdir -p ~/.local/share/solid/actions/ > > 3) Make an empty desktop file to the home solid/actions > touch ~/.local/share/solid/actions/solid-action.desktop Tried that. No effect, but it sent me down a rabbit hole where I found a bunch of stuff that almost made sense, but not enough to act on. It was too long to paste so I added it as an attachment. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[systemsettings] [Bug 276016] Provide configure option to hide "remove download photos with gwenview" action in device notifier
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=276016 --- Comment #8 from Joe--- Isn't 5 years enough time to at least get a response from the KDE developers on this issue? I have used KDE forever (decades), but I don't usually recommend it to others because I usually don't feel that anyone is even listening to me when I have an issue or a request. I have long since realized that the way I do things and what I like is is somewhat unique to me and I don't expect others to agree with my views, but I do expect to be met with more than a wall of silence. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[Phonon] [Bug 212091] Configure phonon from command line
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=212091 --- Comment #18 from Joe--- It's been quite awhile since I have visited this. I have worked around this issue using Pulse Audio. My script is attached. The issue for developers is that there is no automatic way to determine where you want the audio to go when you activate a new video display. So you do need a user script/gui to handle it the way you want it to work. Once you have the script, you can activate it using udev rules (if you can figure out how ;( ). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
