[plasma-mobile] [Bug 484054] Lock screen sometimes not unlockable
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=484054 --- Comment #6 from Julian Groß --- A workaround on postmarketOS is to type `loginctl unlock-session c1` in a different TTY (Ctrl + Alt + 2), and then switch back (Ctrl + Alt + 1). This can also be used to test the issue. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a sure-fire way of reproducing the issue. I run into it multiple times a day though, so I can try whatever might be needed to figure this one out. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasma-mobile] [Bug 482863] invisible cursor
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482863 Julian Groß changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|FIXED |--- Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED --- Comment #10 from Julian Groß --- I just updated to Plasma Mobile 6.0.3 with KDE-Frameworks 6.0.0 and Qt 6.6.3 and the cursor issue reappeared. Looking at the desktop settings cursor theme suggests that the dark Breeze theme cannot be applied. As in, I only get a cursor if I select another theme, or select another theme and then switch back to dark Breeze, which will keep the previous theme's cursor. According to your comment https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482863#c3 dark Breeze is just missing on postmarketOS. This means that the issue most likely never actually got fixed and was just worked around temporarily by switching cursor themes. I will reopen this issue for now; Please tell me if I should rather move it to the postmarketOS or Alpine Linux issue tracker. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[NeoChat] [Bug 477418] New: Allow adjusting scale on NeoChat
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=477418 Bug ID: 477418 Summary: Allow adjusting scale on NeoChat Classification: Applications Product: NeoChat Version: 23.08.3 Platform: Flatpak OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: General Assignee: fe...@posteo.de Reporter: julia...@posteo.de CC: c...@carlschwan.eu Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 163392 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=163392=edit NeoChat window next to an Element window with slightly increased scale. SUMMARY Not only does NeoChat (from Flat Hub) have a seemingly smaller scale that other applications, but for a Matrix client specifically, I like to have a higher scale. People generally post short one or two sentences long messages. I don't need to have many messages on my screen at once either. Typically, I use such a client maximized or on half of a 1440p screen. All this together makes it extremely wasteful to me to have so much information displayed on screen at once; I much rather have stuff a lot easier to read. Personally I would love to be able to change the entire scale of NeoChat. On Element and Discord I can just press 'Ctrl' + '+' until I am satisfied with the scale, since they are essentially just websites. SUGGESTION I would suggest adding a setting, for adjusting the scale. Additionally, it could be nice for NeoChat to react to 'Ctrl' + '+', like an internet browser, since that is what other NeoChat-like applications like Element or Discord do. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Flat Hub NeoChat commit 91954c7c9c21f05a39ec62d4dd371768b0c3503cd31a0f65c94c46905ef5f stable version 23.08.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Personally the low scale makes NeoChat unattractive for me on desktop, unless I changed the scale using command line wizardry which I assume is possible. I do use and like NeoChat on my postmarketOS mobile phone ;) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=473329 --- Comment #2 from Julian Groß --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > If you configure the power button to do something else, does that work? No, regardless of the setting it opens the logout prompt. (I tried different settings in all three tabs, in case something is inconsistent there.) (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > If you invoke the logout screen by clicking the Shut Down button in Kickoff, > does that work? Yes, that is generally how I log out or shut down the machine. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kde] [Bug 473329] New: Power button configuration being ignored
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=473329 Bug ID: 473329 Summary: Power button configuration being ignored Classification: I don't know Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Archlinux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: firedefend...@googlemail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I am running into an issue where I seemingly cannot configure power button behaviour on KDE Plasma. I have configured the power button behaviour to "lock screen" in all of KDE system settings' energy saving tabs. However, it seems as if that setting is ignored. Looking at journalctl, ksmserver launches the "org.kde.LogoutPrompt" after getting the power key pressed signal. ```journalctl systemd-logind[3342]: Power key pressed short. dbus-daemon[3634]: [session uid=1001 pid=3634] Activating service name='org.kde.LogoutPrompt' requested by ':1.17' (uid=1001 pid=3708 comm="/usr/bin/ksmserver") dbus-daemon[3634]: [session uid=1001 pid=3634] Successfully activated service 'org.kde.LogoutPrompt' ``` STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Configure power button action in System settings → Energy saving 2. Press power button. OBSERVED RESULT The behaviour observed and the behaviour configured don't match. Currently pressing the power button opens the logout prompt. EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux ARM (Plasma Desktop, not mobile or bigscreen) (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.7 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.108.0 Qt Version: 5.15.10 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION A couple of days ago it opened the shutdown prompt instead or the logout prompt. I ran a system update since then and played with other the power settings. I don't know what caused the change in behaviour though. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kde-windows] [Bug 324995] Generating video previews crashes "kioslave.EXE"
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324995 Julian Groß changed: What|Removed |Added Version|4.10|unspecified --- Comment #2 from Julian Groß --- (In reply to Andrew Crouthamel from comment #1) > Dear Bug Submitter, > > This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and > re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status > to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to > REPORTED when you respond. > > Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! I cannot find a fitting installer anymore, and I don't really have the time to get into the project and figure out how to compile konqueror and the videopreview stuff. Nice to see that someone is taking care of the bugtracker though. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
