[frameworks-kio] [Bug 179678] KIO needs PolicyKit-kde integration
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=179678 --- Comment #81 from KDErobo3me --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #74) > If you are desperate for this fix RIGHT NOW, probably building Dolphin from > source would be the easiest way to do it. You could check out git master to > have the latest version that incorporates the fix, or you could check out > the Applications/18.04 branch and then remove the offending code from > main.cpp before compiling: compiling latest sources is much more tedious than sticking with the version that one's distro is shipping at the time. see: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=224=141836=30#p408074 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402331 Bug ID: 402331 Summary: placement of this KCM inside of system-settings is not prominent enough Product: Systemd KCM Version: 1.2.1 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: rthoms...@gmail.com Reporter: k...@robo3.me Target Milestone: --- The SystemD KCM is a little hard to find when sys-settings is opened. [kcalc] [Bug 402238] New: please make "Control-key = key bind" info more prominent
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402238 Bug ID: 402238 Summary: please make "Control-key = key bind" info more prominent Product: kcalc Version: 18.12 Platform: Compiled Sources OS: All Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: ete...@alum.rit.edu Reporter: k...@robo3.me Target Milestone: --- The problem with KDE is: It overwhelms the user with irrelevant / trivial / unneeded "help" documentation, yet as soon as someone has a real question, the HELP button is next to useless. Case in point: What does the CTRL key in KCalc do ? Answer: it shows current key binding, i.e. which key on a hardware-keyboard does what function. Is that self-explanatory ? No, not at all, much like CTRL-2 does sth. else unrelated, so does SHIFT. Where does one find this info ? Somewhere one the web where no one looks for it. Where do we NOT find it, as usual, and therefore gave up all hope? Of course, in KDE HELP can we not find it, the "HELP" with the red/white floating-device that has a lot of uninteresting things to say. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
