Hi,
  Konversation 1.5 installed from ports successfully. It opens and closes fine.
No crashes. Can't install oxygen-transparent theme however, due to conflicts
with KF5 ports. So marking as 'WORKSFORME'.

Heh, I mostly used Quassel for my limited IRCing, if that's a verb. 
Once I get the downgrade from 12-CURRENT to 11-BETA1 sorted, I may install
Konversation & check. I wonder how it plays together with KF5 & Plasma5.

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I clicked the File menu then selected the Quit option in Konversation. The
program window disappeared, then the kcrash dialog came up.  
- Custom settings of the application: I have the Oxygen Transparent style set.
Maybe I try setting Konversation as exception in the Style kcm.
