[kmail2] [Bug 368445] kmail2 (v5.3.0) crashes : [warn] epoll_wait: Bad file descriptor

2016-09-28 Thread Lemmiwinks via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368445

Looks like this is related to this bug in the nouveau driver, because of the
use of multithreading in qtwebengine:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91632

Kmail now uses qtwebengine.

Hopefully there will be a fix for nouveau soon, as more and more programs use
qtwebengine (qupzilla etc.).

Which graphics driver are you using? Are we all using nouveau?

I renamed kmail2rc in .~/.config/ to kmail2rc.old and got the following error
when starting kmail:

bash-4.3$ kmail
"Tag 'a' is not defined in message {<__kuit_internal_top__>KMail has many
powerful features that are described in th...}."
"Tag 'br' is not defined in message {<__kuit_internal_top__>Thank you,The
KMail Team}."
this does not work on a KActionCollection containing actions!

[Akonadi] [Bug 334569] KOrganizer not syncing properly with modified repeated events in google calendar

Still no luck with 16.04.3 in Fedora 24 now. I think the whole connection to
the Google api is broken, as there are multiple bug reports concerning Google
calendar etc.. Please fix this.

I'm now on Plasma 5.7.2 but my systray icons are still much too small and do
not scale with taskbar height. Using Fedora 24.
Do I have to reset a certain setting?

Absolutely no progress on this bug. It's very disappointing.
I'm currently on Ubuntu 16.04 with korganizer 15.12.3.
It works brilliantly in Thunderbird/Lighting with Google calendar add-on.
Also the event calendar plasmoid for Plasma 5 syncs events like a charm.

I would also like to see support for skypeweb plugin.
It works great on Pidgin and Empathy.
Telepathy should support all purple plugins :)
