[dolphin] [Bug 476893] New: Selected Item in View & Viewport jumps around on Window Resize
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=476893 Bug ID: 476893 Summary: Selected Item in View & Viewport jumps around on Window Resize Classification: Applications Product: dolphin Version: 23.08.3 Platform: Archlinux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: view-engine: icons mode Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: lo...@lorendias.com CC: kfm-de...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** When scrolling through a large directory, the file view jumps around on window resize. If you scroll through 25% or [ select a photo ] that on window resize the "seeked" view should remain statically anchored to either the last selected file or the 25% progress until you use the scroll wheel again to navigate further ahead. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have Window Tiling enabled 2. Open dolphin to a ~/Pictures directory with over 200 pictures and have it maximized to 100% width. 2. Scroll 25% of the way down and click/select a picture. 3. Open a second Dolphin Window, Web Browser / App splitting the windows into 50% width each 4. The view-port jumps from 25% to 50% and the selected item is now 25% behind the current view. 5. (Optional: Use arrow keys to jump back to the selected item[s]) OBSERVED RESULT View doesn't remain statically anchored on resize EXPECTED RESULT View should remain consistent and static. Perhaps a setting / option to anchor to "last selected item" or "active scroll progress" SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS ArchLinux / KDE Plasma / Sway KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.9-1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.111.0-1 Qt Version: 5.15.11 (built against 5.15.11) wayland-egl windowing system ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This would greatly improve usability and quality of life. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 438664] [Feature Request] Krita Chat via #krita:matrix.org
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=438664 --- Comment #2 from Loren Dias --- I did some more checking and it would seem KDE has a Matrix server? kde.org ( eg: https://matrix.org/blog/2019/02/20/welcome-to-matrix-kde ) More Info: https://community.kde.org/Matrix#Rooms And I also discovered what appears to be #krita:kde.org aswell as ##krita-chat:kde.org which I assume are bridged to the Freenode server which eventually will be totally offline. I suggest you have a internal discussion since those official rooms will go to nowhere in the future. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[krita] [Bug 438664] New: [Feature Request] Krita Chat via #krita:matrix.org
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=438664 Bug ID: 438664 Summary: [Feature Request] Krita Chat via #krita:matrix.org Product: krita Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: General Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: lorend...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Seeing as how beloved IRC server Freenode of 20 years dropped all channels and users today including #krita by switching to a new server software ** https://isfreenodedeadyet.com/ ** https://www.devever.net/~hl/freenode_suicide Since moving to a new channel is necessary, I request that Matrix be considered as some channels are moving to Matrix & it's much easier for users to use and has advanced features built in like. I request that since a new channel is necessary - the replacement consider Matrix as it would be easier to reach a wider audience since Matrix is much easier to use for new users than IRC which requires so many text commands & tech know-how. There already is a channel for #krita on matrix.org with several dozen users by @shadowrun:matrix.org It shouldn't be too hard to get admin. Matrix has a variety of apps for different users preferred chat styles -- https://matrix.org/clients/ As Matrix is a open network it's entirely possible for Krita or KDE to host their own Matrix Synapse server, eg: https://hub.docker.com/r/matrixdotorg/synapse/ if they were interested in doing so. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 394061] Brush blobbing mid-stroke ink_gink_25 | archlinux | wacom cintiq 21ux
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394061 --- Comment #18 from Loren Dias --- That's too bad. The problem is definitely in the brush engine and Krita itself. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394061 --- Comment #14 from Loren Dias <lorend...@gmail.com> --- @Quiralta I have attached the specific brush to this bug report incase that helps. I have uninstalled xf86-input-wacom and will see if the problem goes away. I am unable to install libevdev. Archlinux comment says: ➜ ~ sudo pacman -Ss libevdev extra/libevdev 1.5.9-1 [installed] Wrapper library for evdev devices I think it may directly wrap evdev to libinput for legacy and be required. I will try each of your suggestions to see if I can narrow it down. To try to reproduce please use a large canvas heavy document (~800 Megabytes when opened) 1950 x 3232 @ 300 DPI.
