python.xml

Rebased against 2.28 like in
https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=ktexteditor.git=blob=2ee8046be4aa7a15fb739352d82c73a2949777db=src%2Fsyntax%2Fdata%2Fpython.xml

However I could not test it, because now it’s KDE5 only. So testing in KDevelop
4.7 does not work anymore. And I did not figure out how to test a new syntax
hightlighting file in KWrite/Kate in KDE5.

Same problem under Windows 10.

The screenshot shows the theme “GrayCard” (using the default widget style,
which seems to be “WindowsVista”.

There are four widget styles available on Windows 10:
default: WindowsVista: broken
WindowsXP: broken
Windows: works
Fusion: works

A quick-and-dirty solution might be to simply always use “Fusion” as widget
style when running at Windows or at Mac.

The problem with the barely visible icons seems to be a problem of the icon
theme. After choosing a dark theme, you can manually switch Settings→Various
settings→Icon theme to “BreezeDark”, which works fine. However, maybe this
should automatically be done when choosing a dark theme?

2016-07-18 Thread Lukas Sommer via KDE Bugzilla

Bug ID: 365809
Summary: Menu bar disappears after having used full screen mode
   Product: digikam
   Version: 5.0.0
  Platform: MS Windows
OS: MS Windows
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: digikam-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: sommer...@gmail.com

The main menu bar in digikam disappears after having used the full screen mode.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Switch to full screen mode
2. Switch back

I observed this also in older (4.x) digikam versions on Windows.

Additionally, it is not possible to get the menu bar back by pressing Strg+M,
because from 5.0.0 on this shows/hides the status bar and not the menu bar.
Also the button in the toolbar (“Show menu bar”) does not show the menu bar,
but the status bar.

Reproducible: Always

Using Windows 10.

[digikam] [Bug 365125] Win64 version cannot start

2016-07-07 Thread Lukas Sommer via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365125

It does not work for me.

Tried with the latest installer at
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7yq-xFihT0_MVBzOW9jZFA2NE0 under Windows 10,
64 bit.

The install procedure starts correctly, but after reaching 100%, the installer
window does not close, but does not react anymore. I have to close it with the
task manager.

When starting digikam it blocks my start menu bar and the hole computer during
about a minute. After a minute, I can continue to work. But the digikam does
not appear on the screen. (The process is neverthelass running, as I can see in
the task manager.)

However, showfoto works.

The uninstaller does not work (does nothing).

[PATCH] Python syntax highlighting: not working correctly for escape sequences

The syntax highlighting file python.xml in version 5.22 does not highlight
correctly escape sequences. The highlighting for two-digit hex values is
C-style, but Python’s syntax is different. There is no support for the other
escape sequences. That‘s a little bit annoying when you have to work a lot with
escape sequences.

Attached a new python.xml file that solves these issues. I have tested it while
working in KDevelop 4.7.

Reproducible: Always
