[kphotoalbum] [Bug 374882] New: Double clicks needed instead of single ones
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374882 Bug ID: 374882 Summary: Double clicks needed instead of single ones Product: kphotoalbum Version: 5.0.1 Platform: Compiled Sources OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Browser Assignee: kpab...@willden.org Reporter: nos...@majo.name Target Milestone: --- In my system settings, I have configured KDE to use double clicks to "open files and folders " (as the explanation says) Now I have to also use double clicks e.g. to "enter" the different top level items on the main screen. ("People", "Places", ...) Even if I want to select an entry in "Settings/Birthdays", I need a double click. These turn to single clicks, if I change this KDE setting. But because I want this "single click to just select", this is no good option. The behaviour had been single clicks, irrespective of the settings in previous versions. (So I assume this is an effect of KDE4 <=> 5 and not a conscious change in KPA itself) I'm using openSUSE Leap 42.2 as OS (QT 5.6.1; KDE Plasma 5.8.3, KDE Framework 5.26.0) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[konsole] [Bug 374174] dolphin crashed on trying to change dir
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374174 --- Comment #3 from Martin Jost --- Hello, yes, this might well be konsole actually. I just had the crash again (similar stack trace). Unfortunately I can't reproduce it at will. This (again) happened on starting dolphin, but with a terminal window ("[F4]") open at start. (I assume this had been the same the first time - but to me "dolphin" crashed) The interesting thing is, that it seems the console had a problem to expand the variables used in my prompt. But before I could have a closer look, the whole dolphin including the console crashed. The stack trace looks similar to me. (Attached) I have a question to the request: "If you can reproduce the crash again, please install debug symbols and attach a new backtrace in this report. See also: https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging"; Do I get this right: I need to compile from source to do so ? https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/Debugging_symbols Or do I need to just add some '*Devel*'-RPMs ? (Which ones ? / How to find out which ones ?) Regards Martin -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

It seems in addition that it gets rearranged on saving. I keep my index.xml versioned using RCS and I usually do a rcsdiff before committing an updated version. For this purpose it is good to have as few changes as possible and above all only "real" changes. While i see that the order is irrelevant for KPA (so it probably doesn't care) it is annoying for diffing versions. (I do this to avoid screwing up my DB) So I would like to see sorted reasonably. My suggestion would be to sort by category/group-name/member (in this order of precedence) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add a new tag 2. rcsdiff the newly created index.xml 3. [Phonon] [Bug 358092] digikam crashed on trying dot downloadf photos from Fairphone 2 in PTP mode
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358092 --- Comment #1 from Martin Jost --- This is not specifically connected to the Fairphone 2; I've seen a similar behaviour when trying to download photos from a CF card in a (USB3) card reader. That definitely worked "some time ago". (It's the usual way to get photos from my SLR) I mentioned the FP2, because my first assumption had been "brand new HW". Backtrace from that crash with the CF card & reader: Application: digiKam (digikam), signal: Segmentation fault Using host libthread_db library "/lib64/libthread_db.so.1".
