If someone wanted to have only kde software on his system to keep it as smooth
and uniform and free from other libraries as possible, it would be nice, I
think, because you wouldn't need to check with every promising software whether
it's KDE or Gnome or other.

I'd like to propose a built-in grouping of different types of fonts - deco
fonts, text and display, scripts, handwritings, etc.

I know such a distinction would always be quite arbitrary, but at least there
could be these groups:

-Serifs (all serif typefaces with at least 4 different fonts -
regular,bold,italic,bold-italic)
- Sanserifs (all sanserif typefaces with at least 4 different fonts)
- Scripts
- pictograms (like dingbats etc.)

Optional groups:
-small caps
-decorative fonts
-header fonts
-handwriting
etc.

kcm_fontinst could have a preconfigured list of the most common fonts used in
Linux systems, which would then be overruled by any user configuration.

Disabling the use of recent addresses helps in my case (kmail 5.1.3 on Kubuntu
16.04). i don't need to type - delete again - type to enable autocompletion.
Which also hints towards recent addresses being the bad guy...

Yes, except that
- it is very cumbersome to change a payee. It would be easier to have a
dropdown list of payees somewhere

Because there is no other drm software available under linux that's easy to
work with (only a few web-based systems), I use kmymoney for our donation
management (we work in a donation based organisation and have to keep in touch
with our personal donors).
Kmymoney works great for this purpose. There are only three things missing,
with one being more important, the other two being marginal:
1) being able to view a specific donor's history as a graphical report (maybe
even more than one donor)
2) import donor's address details and 3) activate a communication process from
within kmymoney (like writing an email or a letter) - both of which are not
really crucial.

I know this is not the original scope of kmymoney, but if it could be
implemented (expecially nr 1), that would just be awesome!

I would like to be able to drag and drop a google contact to a subgroup to add

I would like to be ablet do drag a file from dolphin to kmail to create an
attachment via the "present windows" effect. Right now I can drag the file into
the activated corner, and the windows will be presented, but I can not drop it
onto another window. It copies the file to the original folder insted,
presenting me with a dialog to change the file name.

Well, it does not work with the provided testcase document at all (o.k., it's a
rather complicated document, I agree, but it should still work).
And calligra crashes when I delete text from the linked frames, but I'll file a
new bug report for that.

Some observations:
1) systemmonitor does not have this bug.

I tried to close the program. It doesn't matter whether I close it by clicking
on the top-right corner or via "file - exit".

Strange behaviour I have observed:
kontact always complains about kwallet not opening correctly ("several failed
attempts to open a wallet"). This does not happen if I use a standalone program
either.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

You need to add "ppa:kubuntu-ppa" (and maybe "ppa:kubuntu-backports") to your
repository. The version there is still 5.0.3, though, but 5.1 should make it
