I opened a bug report with alacritty and they said this is a KDE issue, so I'm reporting it here. I have not seen this resize bug effect other programs outside of alacritty. The window is still open, but the icon is not visible in the task manager. I have not had this problem with other programs, and under X11, I get the intended behavior of the icon in the task manager. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start a Plasma Wayland session 2. Enable Firefox to use Wayland 3. OBSERVED RESULT The Firefox icon disappears from the task manager. EXPECTED RESULT The Firefox icon remains, along with icons of other programs.
