Hi, I got all the K-apps working now.
I uninstalled a whole lot of Gnome-stuff and reinstalled the K-Suite.

The style, if you mean Kvantum, is one I made my self but if I remember
correctly, is for the most part, bits from Breeze Air.
I get an error saying that Akonadis Service and is “not operational”.
The instructions are to get more information by pressing the detail button but
nothing happens.
I haven’t had time to look into this yet.
Is there some further information I can gather for you I’d be happy to help.

I’ve been using this style a couple of months without any issue.
To me, ad a none developer, and a total layman, I would have guessed that
Akonadi’s issue is not with Kvantum but something else.
Everything around that K-suite of programs seems completely dead.
Dead. Like it’s only half installed.

To be fair, my installation is quite messy. I have installed A BUNCH of apps
from all distros trying out all the window decorators and compositors so
there’s an epic battle for supremacy on every boot.
The plan was to do a fresh install of Kubuntu with 22.04 but I happened to
stumble on the “upgrade” command so I thought I’d give it a go first.

But as I said. If there’s any further information I can give, or tests I can
run, I’d be happy to oblige.

Kind regards, Mattias

Is it Qt5 you mean by frameworks btw?

Well that's embarrassing. I installed it just a couple of weeks ago and even
compiled it from source to get the latest version. How on earth I manage to

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was just about to change the color of the highlighted brackets. I clicked on
the "custom" color choice and then i chrashed.
Prior to that fatal move I was tinkering with Kvantum Manager and
Systemsettings5. I had just experimented with making every window, dropdown
menu, Dialogs, slightly transparent.
Open apps at the time where Synaptic Package Manager, Kate, Systemsettings5,
Google Chrome Beta.

- Custom settings of the application:
Nothing special, I was just seting upp all the buttons in the UI the way I
want.

I have been playing around alot with themes, colors and graphics settings all
day though and this was my sixth (I think) crash for today so there's something
not quite right.
Unfortunately everytime I'm trying to complete theese crash reports I get
another crash which have been fatal every time. I do have one report saved
though but I don't know if its
possible to complete a report once the computer has been rebooted. I'm gonna
look into that after this.
The crashreports are mostly jibberish to me but I have noticed that every time
I have a crash Qt5 is ALWAYS mentioned.

Hmm, what else could be important...
I'm trying to get KDE, Qt5ct GTK and Kvantum to play nice with eachother so
alot of tinkering with all their settings.
I'm using OpenGl 3.1 and have Plasma Renderer setup to use Open GL and not
software, and also the threaded option.

I have three monitors, two on a Nvidia card and the third runs on an integrated
intel card.

Anything else you need to know just send an email I always answer. Good luck

The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible.
