[kwin] [Bug 475077] Show non-linear virtual desktop arrangements again
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=475077 Michael D changed: What|Removed |Added CC||nortex...@gmail.com --- Comment #31 from Michael D --- The spatial layout doesn't have to be represented in the overview effect. What's important is that the user has all features available that the overview effect is supposed to provide, e.g. moving windows to different desktops, etc. Making certain important features available only under limited circumstances unknown to the user doesn't make sense. I would suggest forgetting about trying to represent the spatial layout and keeping the desktop bar as it was. This is much less confusing than what is currently implemented. Even under a 2x2 layout, e.g., one knows which desktop is the 1st, the 2nd, etc., so the linear representation is not confusing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kate] [Bug 423430] Buttons labels in the "replace" field get easily cut off
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=423430 --- Comment #4 from Michael D --- I understand, but it's still not in an acceptable state, if you ask me. I also don't think it should be demoted to a wish since it impacts usability and is poorly designed. The size need being reasonable is what my first screenshot shows is false, but in any case, why should a usable interface depend on a window's width being a certain size when the window is allowed to have a smaller width? I would suggest replacing text with icons for a start, since that's easy to implement. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[okular] [Bug 452290] New: Presentation view's fade-in animation pauses/stutters badly
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=452290 Bug ID: 452290 Summary: Presentation view's fade-in animation pauses/stutters badly Product: okular Version: 21.12.3 Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org Reporter: nortex...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 147979 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=147979=edit Fade-in stutter Could be a wayland-only bug, but when I invoke presentation view it stops for a good 3 seconds. No other animations on Plasma stutter for me. The fade-out animation when closing the view works fine. A video showing the issue is attached. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kwin] [Bug 450963] Only unfocused desktop thumbnails show the panel
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=450963 --- Comment #5 from Michael D --- Ah, is that what's going on? The panel is 40px wide, so not exactly skinny, but the outline should definitely be drawn around the thumbnail. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdeplasma-addons] [Bug 451721] New: Add refresh/update to right-click menu or widget
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=451721 Bug ID: 451721 Summary: Add refresh/update to right-click menu or widget Product: kdeplasma-addons Version: 5.24.3 Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Weather Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: nortex...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- The weather information often doesn't refresh after resume or at login so it would be nice to have a refresh button instead of having to change the refresh interval time to get it to update. This likely belongs to another wish report, but I would propose adding a header to the widget that displays the location and that adds configure and refresh buttons. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kwin] [Bug 450674] It's too easy to accidentally delete virtual desktops
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=450674 --- Comment #6 from Michael D --- By the way, there is a related issue I have with the delete button. You can drag a window over it and the tooltip "Delete virtual desktop" shows up, which suggests to the user that the desktop will be deleted if the window is dropped onto the trash icon. The trash icon should not show on hover when dragging a window to a desktop thumbnail. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[dolphin] [Bug 449166] Dragging items in Dolphin makes them look shaky
