New crash information added by DrKonqi

dolphin (23.08.1) using Qt 5.15.10

Reproduced every time :
- Go into a folder monitored by InSync
- Create a new directory
- Quickly enter the new directory
- Right click
- Dolphin crashes

Disabling the InSync service in the Dolphin configuration solves the problem.

Installed through apt :
$ apt list --installed | grep dolphin
dolphin-plugins/mantic,now 4:23.08.1-0ubuntu1 amd64 [installed]
dolphin/mantic,now 4:23.08.1-0ubuntu1 amd64 [installed]
insync-dolphin/now 3.7.9.50368 all [installed,local]
libdolphinvcs5/mantic,now 4:23.08.1-0ubuntu1 amd64 [installed,automatic]

[kasts] [Bug 473069] New: user documentation is either absent or very well hidden

2023-08-06 Thread mo lasses
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=473069

Bug ID: 473069
Summary: user documentation is either absent or very well
hidden
Classification: Applications
   Product: kasts
   Version: 23.04.3
  Platform: Manjaro
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: b...@mogwai.be
  Reporter: fastes.molasses@erine.email
  Target Milestone: ---

Thank you for making this application. It is the best one I found for podcasts
on desktop. :)

SUMMARY

I can't find any user documentation.

OBSERVED RESULT

I can see that there *is* documentation:
https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kasts/-/blob/master/po/en_GB/kasts.po

Where does it go?

I checked:

https://github.com/KDE/kasts
https://flathub.org/apps/org.kde.kasts
https://apps.kde.org/kasts/
https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?list_id=2437041=kasts=---
https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kasts
https://binary-factory.kde.org/view/Android/job/Kasts_Nightly_android-arm64/
https://discuss.kde.org/
kasts --help , kasts --help-all
everywhere I could in the application

I found bugs where people are talking about what it says in the docs, but none
included a link or any hint to where these would be found.

EXPECTED RESULT

User documentation should be available on all the application pages (such as
listed above) and from within the application.

When I was searching for information about the application, the developer
oriented results like git repos, were very close to the top. Therefor the docs
should be linked to from these locations. And/Or, prominently link to a
user-oriented page from the developer spots.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro
Qt Version: 5.15.10
Xfce: 4.18
Installed from arch repo: https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/kasts/
Build Date: 2023-07-04 14:14 UTC

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I can see there are issues about features that I can't find. The tracker does
not seem to correspond to what is on my screen. Maybe they are bugs? Or maybe
it is a new feature not yet included in my build? Or I am using it with
incompatible system? I can't really determine what is expected.

thanks for all your work. :)

2022-09-11 Thread Mo

OS: Other
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal

  Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: cl9...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I have a large collection of albums in Google Photos and I would like to
request two updates
1. Ability to create a new album without retrieving the list of existing albums
(I have a large collection and I need to wait for all of them to read before I
am presented a choice to create a new album)
2. Use "album"/"folder" name as the default album name to be uploaded.

[dolphin] [Bug 457232] New: Move to Trash does not work

2022-07-28 Thread Mo
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=457232

Bug ID: 457232
Summary: Move to Trash does not work
   Product: dolphin
   Version: 22.04.3
  Platform: Other
OS: Microsoft Windows
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: mohammadmahdiabdollahp...@gmail.com
CC: kfm-de...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
This bug is very simple. Right-click and move to trash (or just pressing Del
button) does not move files to Recycle Bin.
The files are not affected at all.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open dolphin.exe
2. right click on a random file
3. select move to trash
4. press F5 to reload

OBSERVED RESULT
After step 3 a dialog box opens which shows the progress of moving files into
Trash.
Files disappear after progress completion.
After step 4 files reappear.
"Deleted" files does not appear in the windows RecycleBin at any steps

EXPECTED RESULT
"Deleted" files should have moved to RecycleBin (or at least a .Trash folder in
home or something similar).
They should not have reappeared after step 4.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 11 (25163.1010)
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0
Qt Version: 5.15.5

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I installed dolphin from here:
https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Dolphin_Release_win64
(not related: winget installation does not work)

Can confirm this behaviour on debian 11 (x11), too.

There is a weird workaround though:

1. open keepassxc
2. copy password to clipboard [&& paste or do other stuff]
3. select another item from the clipboard history
3. exit keepassxc without hanging

I can confirm that issue.

Events stay in calendar if you remove it from any other source (WebCal, Handy,
etc.), except the PIM calendar him self.

Changing or creation of a event seams to sync properly. So it seams only remove
is affected.

This is also the case when it tested with a complete new user with a freshly
created home directory.

Testet with Arch Linux:
kdepim 19.12.2-1
plasma-workspace 5.18.0-1
plasma-framework 5.67.0-1
qt5-base 5.14.1-2
