[print-manager] [Bug 469132] New: KDE Plasma Printer for HP Colorjet refused to set duplex printer, while Gnome GTK prints duplex w/o
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=469132 Bug ID: 469132 Summary: KDE Plasma Printer for HP Colorjet refused to set duplex printer, while Gnome GTK prints duplex w/o Classification: Frameworks and Libraries Product: print-manager Version: 23.04.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: applet Assignee: dantt...@gmail.com Reporter: dyl...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- #!/bin/hi * I have an HP Color LaserJet MFP m278 which does duplex printing. In the System Settings, I can specify duplex printing and the printing dialogue like in Okular when printing a PDF. However, in the System Settings, I can choose a type of duplex printing, whereas in the printing dialogue of okular I can not: long or short edge binding options are greyed out. Yet, opening the document on the same machine using the same CUPS settings in Document Viewer of Gnome GTK prints duplex flawlessly. [print-manager] [Bug 420649] New: Wish: when adding a new printer, show the detected printer name when selecting a driver
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420649 Bug ID: 420649 Summary: Wish: when adding a new printer, show the detected printer name when selecting a driver Product: print-manager Version: unspecified Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: dantt...@gmail.com Reporter: dyl...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- When adding a Printer, the Systemsettings do a great job in detecting the printers on the network. It lists me the printer like "HP Color LaserJet MFP-blah-foo". Then I select the printer and next, I have to pick a driver. Problem: I *always* forget the correct type name and number, i.e. the "blah-foo". Since most printers advertise their brand, type and variant name in their name, it would be a really great enhancement, if the "Pick a Driver" dialogue in the Printer adding would show me the detected printer name. Like: "Pick a driver for the printer: HP Color LaserJet MFP-blah-foo". Thx! [konsole] [Bug 418737] New: wish: I want to configure the factor to dim unfocused windows of Konsole in the options
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418737 Bug ID: 418737 Summary: wish: I want to configure the factor to dim unfocused windows of Konsole in the options Product: konsole Version: 19.12.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: split-view Assignee: konsole-de...@kde.org Reporter: dyl...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Since 19.12.3 I do have the ability to dim the window of an unfocused Konsole. Great!!! However, the dimming is a little bit too strong, since I often need the visual output in another context. This gets somehow pretty dark (w.r.t. current color settings) in some corner cases. Therefore, I'd propose to somehow set the dimming factor in Konsole options. I'd like it a bit softer. [konsole] [Bug 418021] New: Not a bug but a wish: Start split view with current folder as in origin view
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418021 Bug ID: 418021 Summary: Not a bug but a wish: Start split view with current folder as in origin view Product: konsole Version: unspecified Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: split-view Assignee: konsole-de...@kde.org Reporter: dyl...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- - For the record: KDE Plasma 5.18.1 - I simply **love** the split view feature of Konsole und use it and a regular basis several times per day per hour. What annoys me slightly though is, that while splitting the view top-down the folder of the origin view prevails, splitting left-right the folder resets to $HOME though. tl;dr: - cd ~/a/b/c - split down - pwd == ~/a/b/c # in new view - split right - pwd == $HOME # in new view ... =( Could you please set CWD for the new view regardless of left-right and top-down? Many much thx in advance. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
