[Powerdevil] [Bug 361022] New: Laptop goes to sleep when closing lid even with an external display connected

2016-03-26 Thread Ovidiu D . Niţan via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361022

Bug ID: 361022
Summary: Laptop goes to sleep when closing lid even with an
external display connected
   Product: Powerdevil
   Version: 5.5.5
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: plasma-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: nitanovi...@gmail.com

If I connect an external display and I close the laptop's lid the system is
going to sleep even if the option "Even when an external monitor is connected"
is unchecked in the Power Management settings. I changed "When laptop lid is
closed" to "Do nothing" to check if KDE's power management is inhibiting
systemd's power management and it worked as expected.

My current display configuration is http://i.imgur.com/tsVgEU1.png

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set the system to not enter sleep mode in Power Management when an external
monitor is connected
2. Close the laptop's lid

Actual Results:
The system is going to sleep

Expected Results:
The system should not go to sleep
