Sorry for this late comment, but I completely forgot to give my input on this.

Today I've tried with Ark Version 18.4.3 with:
KDE Frameworks 5.48.0
Qt 5.11.1 (built against 5.11.1)

to open a tar.gzipped home folder file (~ 300mb) and tried to close ark, before
the loading is finished.
The app became irresponsive and when the file finally loaded at 100% it
crashed. The stacktrace seems to be unusable.

Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal

  Assignee: andr...@stikonas.eu

  Target Milestone: ---

It would be nice to have an option to clone and restore an entire disk, along
with the partitition information. A compression option in this case would also
be very valuable.

I have tried to logout and login again and now I have the proper primary
screen. Also I can now change it and it's behaving correctly. Altough If I
restart the computer the primary screen goes back to the laptop and changing
the primary screen don't change anything.

I was expecting to have the panel and menus moving to the primary screen once I
change it in the display settings, at least this was the behavior some versions
ago.
Now it doesn't matter the screen I choose for primary... because it will be
always the laptop's one.

Reproducible: Always

[systemsettings] [Bug 361620] New: Allow to set the keyboard layout and model combo

2016-04-11 Thread Paulo Fidalgo via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361620

Bug ID: 361620
Summary: Allow to set the keyboard layout and model combo
   Product: systemsettings
   Version: 5.5.5
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: kcm_keyboard_layout
  Assignee: ary...@gmail.com
  Reporter: paulo.fidalgo...@gmail.com

Hi!

Currently in my setup I use a laptop and an external keyboard. The laptop is a
Macbook Pro with a PT layout and a GB layout external keyboard.

The problem is the model is different and also the number of keys and some key
positions, so every time I need to change the keyboard layout I also need to
change the model.

So the ideal situation would be to set the model and layout (or layouts) used
based on keyboard model. I imagine that every time we connect a new keyboard we
would configure both the model and available layouts (when you want to use
different layouts on the same keyboard.)

Would this make sense to anyone else?

Reproducible: Always

So the problem is on data engine, because Network monitor always stays in 0/0.

--- Comment #1 from Paulo Fidalgo <paulo.fidalgo...@gmail.com> ---
The missing icon in the empty space was the Audio Volume. Although after
removing the panel and creating a new default one I don't have this crash
anymore.
Could be related with old configurations, if is the case is likely to have more
reports like this.
