Only other thing I have to mention is that the preview window renders a tiny bit before it crashes, and that I can move the playback head (Not sure exactly what it's called) to right where the affine transition is, and it renders just fine without crashing, though it still instantly crashes when I try to select the transition. -- Backtrace: Application: Kdenlive (kdenlive), signal: Segmentation fault Using host libthread_db library "/usr/lib/libthread_db.so.1". [kdenlive] [Bug 378576] Kdenlive crashes opening project archive

[kdenlive] [Bug 378576] New: Kdenlive crashes opening project archive
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378576 Bug ID: 378576 Summary: Kdenlive crashes opening project archive Product: kdenlive Version: 16.12.3 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Video Display & Export Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: daviljoe...@aol.com Target Milestone: --- -- Information about the crash: I caused Kdenlive to crash simply by opening an archived project that originally worked perfectly fine on another device with the same OS, same version of Kdenlive, same MLT version, same everything. Only notable differences are that one install of Kdenlive is notably older than the other, with the older of the two installs being the one that the backtrace was generated from. I could try to open the file as many times as I can for as long as I want to try, but it crashes the same way, with the same small stutters and other bits of personality. Only other critical detail is that the non-archive version works just fine, though some effects are missing when the project file and it's resources are copied directly from the other machine to this one and opened with this particular install of Kdenlive. I'd attach the project archive, but it exceeds 4 megabytes, so I'd have to host it elsewhere in order to include it, which I can do if needed. Also, according to KDE bug reporting tool, the below bactrace isn't too helpful, so I'll supply whatever information you ask me to give. -- Backtrace: Application: Kdenlive (kdenlive), signal: Segmentation fault Using host libthread_db library "/usr/lib/libthread_db.so.1".
