Currently Filelight is not available as a Flatpak. This makes it difficult on
Flatpak-first distros like Fedora Silverblue or Fedora Kinoite. Comparatively,
GNOME's "Disk Usage Analyzer" does have a Flatpak and is available on Flathub.
It would be nice if KDE's Filelight was as easily available.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Search Filelight: https://flathub.org/apps/search/filelight

OBSERVED RESULT
0 results are returned

EXPECTED RESULT
Filelight app page is returned

That's great! One would just publish to FlatHub following the instructions here
which is basically just submit a PR that has the build manifest:

Currently Tellico doesn't have a Flatpak which makes it difficult to install on
Linux distros that force installs via Flatpak like Fedora Silverblue and
Kinoite. The Flatpak manifest should be pushed to FlatHub to make it easy for
package managers to maintain Tellico

"Flatpak is the primary way that apps can be installed on [Fedora] Silverblue
[and Fedora Kinoite]" (Fedora Docs). If KMyMoney could be distributed as a
Flatpak and the manifest pushed to Flathub to ease installs of it on Fedora
systems (as well as other distros given the nature of Flatpaks) it would be
very much appreciated.

It's worth noting that Skrooge, the single entry equivalent, is already set up
to do so: https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.kde.skrooge

With the rollout of Fedora Kinoite ('atomic' Fedora KDE that makes backouts of
OS level changes easy) there's a push to make more applications support Flatpak
distribution. Towards this end, it would be great if Kup given it's usefulness
in backing up Home related directories for documents and media were easier to
install on Fedora Kinoite or Silverblue by being available as a Flatpak.

[kmail2] [Bug 416403] During account wizard using @protonmail.com, get "Kmail could not convert value of setting 'Authentication' to required type"

2020-03-31 Thread Snarfel
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=416403

Workaround that's worked for me on Manjaro/EndeavourOS is to setup in
Thunderbird, then import into Kmail. There are one or two sections like Contact
Book that have no selectable entries, but mashing escape will eventually let
you get past those sections and finish the import.

@Laurent Montel: Thanks for updating on root cause. Is this bug in Qt 5.14
filed so that it can be tracked by interested parties in Qt's bug tracking
system? If so, can you provide a link to the specific bug report? Thanks again!

Also confirming here this issue continues in the new 19.12.3-1 of kmail and
kmail-account-wizard unfortunately for both ProtonMail and Gmail.

Just for replication purposes, I can replicate this issue in the recently
released 5.13.2 (19.12.2) version of KMail + kmail-account-wizard as well for
protonmail
