It is possible that this can be some kind of file protection. Does this happen
for every file or just for one file? Can you attach an example?

Another possibility is an old version of poppler library in your system. Can
you run "pdftotext -v" in a console and post the results?

Hi!

This bug is due to the issues in poppler library which is used to render PDF in
Okular. All poppler-based viewers (Okular, qpdfviewer, Evince) show the same
image with wrong quotation marks.

Hi,

This looks like a bug in poppler (library for handling PDF). At least, all
poppler-based PDF-viewers (qpdfviewer, Evince) do not render it correctly.
muPDF shows it as it should.

Works fine here (poppler 0.44, okular 0.25.80).

What is the poppler version in your system (can be seen in "pdftotext -v"
output)?

It should be a global KDE notification option.

Can you try to open System Settings (KDE 4 but similar thing should work for
KF5), then go to "Application and System Notification", then "Notification
MAnagement", then "KDE Workspace" from drop-down list, then uncheck
"Textcompletion: No Match"?

Only KF5 version affected (Okular for KDE 4 does not have AppData file).

KF5 version's AppData file should include all Okular's desktop files as ids in
"component" section.

are visible.
