[systemsettings] [Bug 431060] Cursors subpanel locks when trying to scroll
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431060 --- Comment #6 from agentxlax --- Spoke too soon, but all's good now including the cursors. "I'm afraid I spoke WAY TOO soon. Had to go back in and name it back. NOW I need help restoring ownership back to uid 0 for /lib/. [code]sudo: error in /etc/sudo.conf, line 0 while loading plugin "sudoers_policy" [b]sudo: /usr/lib/sudo/sudoers.so must be owned by uid 0[/b] sudo: fatal error, unable to load plugins error installing repo packages [/code] EDIT: Took me a second but realized that uid 0 had to be root, so I used used Dolphin's Roots Action menu to change ownership to root and all's working again INCLUDING cursors. So my suggestion is the below: Move the file to somewhere easy to remember, or simply rename reboot once(you will lose use of sudo and autostart items reboot again but into a live environment and from there name the file back or move it back" see full last post here: https://arcolinuxforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=122=2386=20 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasma-integration] [Bug 431060] New: Cursors subpanel locks when trying to scroll
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431060 Bug ID: 431060 Summary: Cursors subpanel locks when trying to scroll Product: plasma-integration Version: 5.20.4 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: agentxl...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- I just installed AcroLinux with the Plasma desktop to give it a spin and after landing on the desktop I did my updates, moved my mounts, and then proceeded to tweak Plasma from System Settings starting at the top and working my way down. All works great and no hangups or other issues with the exception of Cursors. I installed my cursors, attempted to scroll to and apply them and System Settings lock up. I end up force closing settings. I'd just as soon figure out what is wrong and fix it. I can't justify reinstalling a OS for a issue with a subsystem, especially since the installed OS is so fast and stable. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. [dolphin] [Bug 429113] Missing app shortcut Icons
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429113 --- Comment #13 from agentxlax --- Update I believe that somehow in the process of fixing the icons somehow the Flatpak system was broken. I noticed shortly after the 5.20.4 updates that I had no Flatpak icons. Then I went to open an image and it open with Gwenview instead of KolourPaint. I closed it, rightclicked the image, went to reassign KolourPaint as the default and it was not listed. I then checked the apps menu and not lisyted on there either, nor were any of my other Flatpaks. Attempted 4 different ways of adding them back and each time it would fail to launch the program. The FlatPak shortcuts in my Shortcuts folder other than not having their icons. I get the below when updating everything via Konsole using Topgrade which updates the FlatPaks as well. Any suggestions On how to fix this? thanks Note that the directories '/var/lib/flatpak/exports/share' '/home/alienprober/.local/share/flatpak/exports/share' are not in the search path set by the XDG_DATA_DIRS environment variable, so applications installed by Flatpak may not appear on your desktop until the session is restarted. Looking for updates… Nothing to do. [plasmashell] [Bug 424069] Systray icons missing since KDE application 5.19.3 update
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424069 --- Comment #1 from agentxlax --- This can be marked resolved. The issue had to do with the 5.7.8 kernel not handling flatpaks correctly. Anything in the systray that was a flatpak would not appear, and their corrisponding application on the startpanel would not start. Updating to the 5.8 kernel resolved the issue. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kde] [Bug 424069] New: Systray icons missing since KDE application 5.19.3 update
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424069 Bug ID: 424069 Summary: Systray icons missing since KDE application 5.19.3 update Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: dualhead Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: agentxl...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Just installed today's testing updates for Manjaro KDE, rebooted and have the below issue now. It was suggested that I switch to the unstable branch for Manjaro to see if anything got missed, and when I did that there was nothing to update, meaning the issue is most likely a issue with KDE applications 15.9.3. Thanks I'm now missing my qBittorrent systray icon along with another systray icon and I cannot get qBittorrent to launch at all. Terminal output when I try to launch QBT from the terminal. [agentx@Secret-Cpmputer ~]$ qbittorrent Icon theme "Papirus" not found. Icon theme "Numix" not found. I apologizebut I did not see any other category that fit this, please move it if you need to. [plasmashell] [Bug 419305] Have transparent icons in systray
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419305 --- Comment #16 from agentxlax --- Avathar Today I'm backing up my Manjaro partitions so I can install Garuda linux which is similar to Manjaro to see if the issue pops up in it. This will be a test to narrow down if the issue is Plasma or Manjaro related. You may have noticed Manjarowish in the unofficial spins section of the Manjaro forum, that is by the creator of Garuda. I downloaded the larger of the two below linked iso's. http://www.garudalinux.in/ http://www.garudalinux.in/pages/download.html -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 419305] Have transparent icons in systray
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419305 --- Comment #14 from agentxlax --- @Avathar is right there doesn't seem to be ant consistency with this. Two different themes in a row with the transparent icons. Theme I'm running now no issues. That tell me it is a Plasma problem, and not a problem with the particular theme. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 419305] Have transparent icons in systray
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419305 --- Comment #11 from agentxlax --- (In reply to David Redondo from comment #9) > Is it this one https://store.kde.org/p/1293160/ ? I can see a qbittorent > icon with that theme applied. > Do you have the qbittorent icon on your system? For me they are inside > /usr/share/icons/hicolor/$(size)/status. You are looking for files named > "qbittorrent-tray" because that is the icon it sets to display in the system > tray yes if i switch theremes i see all the icons, but i could see all of the icons before plasma 5.18.3. so yes the icon is there and it is in use. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 419305] Have transparent icons in systray
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419305 --- Comment #8 from agentxlax --- Ok let me try to clear this up a bit. Was running Gently with all icons showing. then qBitorrent and Night Color icons went transparent after updates from Manjaro that included updates to Plasma.Gently has not had an update since I first installed it. So in a nutshell the bug is either something in Plasma that's not playing nice with Manjaro or the Gently theme, or Something something in the particular Manjaro updates. I do not know who cause the bug and just trying to narrow down who's responsible so maybe it can be properly addressed. Not trying to place blame cause things are going to break from time to time no matter the software or OS. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 419305] Have transparent icons in systray
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419305 --- Comment #4 from agentxlax --- We both know that no matter what the program is in the systray it should be showing it's icon. The theme that seems to be causing the issue is "Gently" which is a KDE / Plasma theme. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 419305] Have transparent icons in systray
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419305 --- Comment #2 from agentxlax --- OK here you go. On the top row og icons in the systray you will see 2 spaces, they actually are qBittorrent and Night Color. There is also a really faint on that is GWE or Green With Envy. https://i.imgur.com/8xIaB0K.png -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
