https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=481578 Bug ID: 481578 Summary: Feature Request: Filter for menu Tools - Highlighting Classification: Applications Product: kate Version: 23.08.4 Platform: unspecified OS: Unspecified Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: application Assignee: kwrite-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: bes.inter...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- I would like to be able to filter markup in endless lists for selecting markup highlighting, starting from the top level. Do we have such an interface element for such dropdown lists? Use case: 1. I copy conf.ini to conf.ini.backup 2. open both files to make changes 3. I want to set the ini markup for a file that could not be determined fith unknown ext 4. I select Tools - Highlighting- ... Expectation: I enter the string "ini" into local search and get only categories with items that have ".*ini.*" Reality: I study categories for a long time (especially if it is the "Sources" category) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
