Hello,

I'm experiencing the same issue but I do not have a dual monitor setup
(although I did have one at a point so it might still be related?).

When I log in (sometimes?) the panel which is set as vertical on the left side
overlaps maximized windows. I.e. I log in and if I start Firefox which opens up
maximized, the left side of Firefox will be under the panel.

If I unlock the panel and go to its settings and resize it just a bit it, the
windows maximize to the panel's edge as they should.

Maybe this helps with debugging.

Thank you

[systemsettings] [Bug 360399] Customization for notification when keyboard layout is changed

You know what, maybe this is not that necessary, switching directly to a
specific layout does not show the popup. That is good enough for now.

Meant to say, when searching for a bug, i.e. on https://bugs.kde.org/query.cgi

[bugs.kde.org] [Bug 360400] New: Very confusing list of products

2016-03-10 Thread hvm via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=360400

Bug ID: 360400
Summary: Very confusing list of products

  Platform: Other
OS: Linux

  Severity: normal

When filing for a bug, the list of products is pretty confusing. I have a hard
time finding the name of a product when I know it let alone when I'm not sure
which is it.

The about pages of the applications are not always helpful with this either.

It would help a lot if there would be more information in the dropdown -
official name of the app/product, not just the internal name, version kde it
was present in (kde4/kde5, plasma whatever, etc) and searching through all of
these.

Thanks!

I want to specify that I would need because I find myself switching between
layouts frequently and the popup is usually in the way.

This the popup I'm talking about

Hi, I couldn't find a setting for the popup that appears in the center of the
screen when changing the keyboard layout (with a shortcut in my case).

Could you please provide an option to at least disable it? Further options that
would move it to another location would be even better but just the ability to
disable would be good enough for me.

Thanks!

[klipper] [Bug 359994] New: Save contexts of clipboard entries and show it alongside them (also at mouse position)

2016-03-02 Thread hvm via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359994

Bug ID: 359994
Summary: Save contexts of clipboard entries and show it
alongside them (also at mouse position)
   Product: klipper
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: mgraess...@kde.org
  Reporter: hvm2...@gmail.com

Is it feasible to store the context of each clipboard entry? I'm thinking of:
 - source application
 - window name
 - date/time
Also it might be useful to store the same information for contexts in which the
entries were used (i.e. where/when they were pasted into)

All this information would be searchable as well.

Reproducible: Always
