We built now new Plasma for blackPanther OS v22.1 and I can confirm as well,
problem still persists on latest Plasma-Desktop:5.23.1 Plasma Workspace:5.90
Dolphin: 21.12.1

Interest: I have two SMB share, Volume_1 and Volume_2, the dolphin discover
shares, accept login/passwd
I tried enter to Volume_1 I get a endless "Authentication dialog" and can't
enter to folder,

> smb_signing_good: BAD SIG: seq 1
> smb_signing_good: BAD SIG: seq 3`

But! I can simply enter to Volume_2 folder.

On another PC, older Plasma/Dolphin still working fine this function for all
shares.

[Discover] [Bug 425133] Very slow acces for use while "fetching update"

2020-08-26 Thread vector
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=425133

Please watch previous video until the end... In first minutes I tried to show
you, that PackageKit is fast and working correctly, but Discover via
PackageKit plugin is not fast, very slow because discover start ~400
transaction in same time.

"s definitely not that slow on any distro I've ever used Discover on (Neon,
Manjaro, openSUSE Tumbleweed)."

These distro does not use Discover->PackageKit->DNF plugins. (The URPMI plugin
is worse than DNF.)

So, I tried Gnome-Software, the situation is same: PackageKit->DNF pluging, and
working fine and fast, it becomes immediately usable after start. Please watch
this video too:
https://youtu.be/92R_P70_4mw

Maybe now it is clearly shown that the error is in Discover.

"fix the performance of the PackageKit plugin for the distro itself"
Yes, maybe, I tried looking for a solution, but something another bug always
intervened to find this problem...
