[plasmashell] [Bug 356479] plasmashell uses 100% CPU when there is an animation in the task bar
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356479 --- Comment #40 from wcramer --- (In reply to Piotr Dobrogost from comment #39) > (In reply to wcramer from comment #38) > > > > But I found a workaround by deleting the panel (noting there were actually > > several behind each other, I removed them all) and then creating a fresh > > For this specific problem see bug 356225 and bug 358011. yes, thanks, but I find this all hugely complicated (I am using several dual screen set ups at home and at work), so I don't mind just killing the panels and create a new one. My point was, however, this seems to truly fix the problem described in this thread here, and maybe therefore provides a hint at what is causing the CPU load? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356479 wcramer changed: What|Removed |Added CC||wolfg...@cramer-bondeau.fr --- Comment #38 from wcramer --- Noticed this many times on opensuse (presently leap 42.1, but also earlier), sometimes it comes sometimes it goes. But I found a workaround by deleting the panel (noting there were actually several behind each other, I removed them all) and then creating a fresh one. This one still shows, although the connection is stable, the circling "connecting to..." symbol, but what is important, the CPU load and fan activity is gone. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
