Bug ID: 394300
Summary: Kdenlive stops responding after playing a clip
(windows - 18-04-1)
   Product: kdenlive
   Version: 18.04.0
  Platform: MS Windows
OS: MS Windows
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: User Interface
  Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org
  Reporter: nicolascasaba...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I want to try out the new 18.04.1 release of kdenlive for windows. What used to
be an annoying glitch in previous releases now makes the program unusable:
after loading some clips and setting up the timeline, I get to use the play
button only once. After stopping and trying to play again, the controls stop
responding and kdenlive appears to be busy doing something for quite some time.

If I wait, I can still do some edits, save files, and so on. But the play
button doesn't work anymore.

[kdenlive] [Bug 385780] New: Speed Effect is not saved after editing

2017-10-15 Thread xnick
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=385780

Bug ID: 385780
Summary: Speed Effect is not saved after editing
   Product: kdenlive
   Version: 17.08.1
  Platform: MS Windows
OS: unspecified
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: grave
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Effects & Transitions
  Assignee: vpi...@kde.org
  Reporter: nicolascasaba...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Steps to reproduce:
1. Load a clip in the timeline.
2. Apply Speed effect to the clip.
3. Do some edition, like cutting the clip, change speed, and so on.
4. Save project and exit kdenlive (*).
5. Reopen kdenlive and load the project.

The speed effect is now missing from the clip.

MLT version 6.5.0

(*) The bug doesn't always happen. It seems that logging out of the system
affects the outcome. Perhaps is related to kdenlive processes not being closed
properly.
