https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387822 --- Comment #9 from ruiamar--- Beyond what I described above, also occurs that: Different number of updates are shown (perhaps Plasmoid is the name of the icon that alerts user that have an update or more) and the number of packages in Discovery. Thank you -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Discover] [Bug 387822] Don't make the updates
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387822 --- Comment #7 from ruiamar--- "In this case" means that normally when the icon with a blue point in the border appears, alerts me that the is an update of packages. I click on it and a popup window appears and says how much packages and a bottom to execute the updates. The it opens the "Discover" that shows what packages and a bottom to execute the updates. And that's it always, and every thing goes fine. This time don't and after I press the bottom to execute the update, every information of the packages ready to update, disappeared. Did this explanation enough for you? Thank's a lot Cheers -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387822 Nate Grahamchanged: What|Removed |Added Keywords|needs_verification | --- Comment #4 from Nate Graham --- No need for editorializing, we're all friends here. :) What is the actual problem? It's not clear to me. What do you mean by "In this case, for some reason, the application doesn't do." Are you saying that when you clicked on the "Install all" button in Discover, the updates did not install? Or that they appeared to have been installed but then the affected packages were gone from your system? Or something else? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387822 ruiamarchanged: What|Removed |Added Severity|normal |critical Resolution|INVALID |--- Status|RESOLVED|UNCONFIRMED --- Comment #3 from ruiamar --- I think you didn't understand what I wrote and you answer is not very kind. I'm sorry, but I had to say. These kind of people (open source, Creative commons) is different from capitalistic and consumerist people. Of course I want to make these updates and do all that appeared. I did it always. In this case, for some reason, the application doesn't do. That's why I ask for help and in the proper place I think. My distro is Kubuntu and the applications remits to here, but if I'm in the wrong place, just tell me. The other GUI package managers you tried to use couldn't work because Discover was still running; only one process at a time is allowed to modify system packages. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
