Bug ID: 451130 Summary: Ugly buttons show up after checking for updates Product: Discover Version: 5.24.2 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: discover Assignee: lei...@leinir.dk Reporter: philipp.kie...@gmail.com CC: aleix...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 147275 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=147275&action=edit Discover screenshot SUMMARY *** When Discover is done checking for updates, it sometimes shows weird buttons at the bottom (see attached screenshot). They seem to have the same functionality as the two buttons "Aktualisieren" and "Alle aktualisieren" in the top right of the window, as they have the same icons and their tooltips say so. I am using Kubuntu 21.10 with the Backports PPA enabled, so I should have the latest Plasma packages installed (apart from the packages you can see in the screnshot, of course ;) ) *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Wait for the Discover system tray icon to appear, informing me about pending updates 2. Click on it 3. Wait for Discover to compile the list of pending updates (which, as a sidenote, takes very long for me, is this normal? Longer than `apt update` and `flatpak update` combined, at least...) OBSERVED RESULT Now, Discover looks like in the attatched screenshot. EXPECTED RESULT Those misaligned buttons at the bottom should look nicer (or be gone completely, since their functionality is already covered by the buttons in the top right).
