I guess this is the same problem as with Spotify and its "your browser is not
supported" error message.
I just found installing the Qt5 WebEngine Widevine plugin solves the problem:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/qt5-webengine-widevine/
This is an Arch Linux package, however. I don't know if you are provided such a
package in Ubuntu.
