Bug ID: 478451 Summary: Feature request: Automatically generate a report for a compensation fee for delayed trains. Classification: Applications Product: KDE Itinerary Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: vkra...@kde.org Reporter: gik-kb...@flump.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY The Deutsche Bahn regularly has delayed trains and pays a compensation of the original ticket price at specific thresholds. Unfortunately, the reporting process is kind of complicated (or at least was complicated the last time I did it), especially since the DB deletes older delays in their online data (so it seems all the trains a few hours ago weren't delayed at all). Maybe it would be possible with Itinerary to automate the process: - Itineraty could track the delays for each station. - It is able to switch to alternatives, if the original trains is canceled or extremly delayed. - It should know the whole travel route. - Based on all that information (also ticket information) it should be possible to write the specific report so a user can send it in with one click. Maybe this is also possible for other train companies, but I do not know them well enough to be able to say how meaningful the process is for them. Für the ÖBB, for example, I needed to chat with a bot on a website that asked for the data, which makes it much more complicated for Itinerary. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
