Out of curiosity I tried with 2 sec delay, no delay, etc. It always behaved as expected, that means main window disappears before taking the screenshot and reappears just after. I see that it's also not respecting your 2 second delay. It looks like it takes the screenshot immediately. That's most likely the proximate cause. The interesting thing is that the spectacle windows seems to disappear (move to the right) and immediately appears again. No idea what's going on.
