https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424907 --- Comment #2 from louicellier...@wanadoo.fr --- 1-No ; btw, Ark is the default app for rar files, and opens and extracts other rar files without problem. 2- the RAR plugin is enabled, but greyed. 3- Actually, the progress bar blinks just one instant, and then you're back to the main window. Have you installed RAR/unrar and/or The Unarchiver? 2. Have you enabled the corresponding plugin in Ark? 3. You said "the progress bar blinks but nothing happens" and the file is 700 MB.
