Thanks for the log, I see the problem. Qt-5.9.3 have changed the behavior of
QUrl, maybe I can fix it without having Qt-5.9.3.

Gilles use Mageia 6 and already has Qt-5.9.3 and no problems. I use openSUSE
Tumbleweed it uses Qt-5.9.2. But think that update will come in a few days. We
will see then...

Thanks, the AppImage seems to work (although the design is somewhat different
compared my KDE settings). Any idea when the natively installed digikam version
will work again? With release of 5.8.0?
