So, this would not show any new information. The way you describe it is on the one hand explainable, on the other hand very, very unintuitive. One expects that the number shows the size of the group and not the number of pictures that you can't see. If e.g. two pictures were shown to make cleat it's a group, the printed number would be n-2 instead.
