In digiKam-7.2.0 the face models were still included in the installer and had
to be reinstalled with each new version. Now they are downloaded once and
remain on the computer even after an update and the installers are much
smaller.

OK That's solved the problem, many thanks for prompt reply.
I did check the release notes but didn't find a match.
Actually while doing the install I re-imported the faces library. It might be
that was the issue too?
