Hi

I propose to open the geolocation tab from left sidebar when user click on
geotag button overlay.
This will automatically show all relevant information.

WPG Geotag mouseover

Adding a screenshot from Windows Photo Gallery for reference, when the user
places the mouse pointer over the Geotag link, the entire IPTC geolocation
information is displayed.
