SUMMARY
In the 8.0.0 beta version of digikam (appimage), I noticed a little regression.
When selecting a face from the drop down list, you still have to manually
confirm that face. Until now, just clicking on the face was enough to assign
it.
Seems to be analogous to bug #372761
